My guess is the FPV Kamakazi droines are like $2k-$3k vs the ruzzian Reconnaissance spy drones at ,,like $20k+++ = good investment...One thing i might add, I see it takes some incredible skills to strike the R drone, have to get close enough, not easy in high winds,,, one thing I would suggest is Ukraine to make the wired trigger antenna's much longer out down and front... this is give them a superior strike factor. Tennacles so to speak, like 2 feet out down and 1 tennacle out front,, = 4 ft radius.
It may be worth a try, but this will increase the aerodynamic drag (and accordingly reduce the maximum speed) and worsen maneuverability.
@@Mad---Max yes correct,,, hummm back to drawing board,,,,,,, how about a nose piece with 4 thin steel wires sticking out say 3 ft in front,,, only one wire has to tag the survelliance drone prop,, down she goes. each of the 3 wires off shooting in dif directions.
@@user-yo9pv1ni6t, you can see those wires on many drone footage. Mostly two spiral formed wires. The configuration of the wires is a compromis, because many drones are multi purpose. When a more valuable object is in sight, then that one is attacked.
Very impressive. I lost control of my son’s drone recently after only 3min in the air and took me over an hour in muddy fields to find it.
I never ever thought I’d see I.T. tech guys with PS controllers rule the battlefield. How warfare has changed from my time. 🇬🇧

also maybe the Ukraineian drone crews can consider using a munition that is not as charged -= lighter weight = more flight time + superior manuvering,,as the ruzzian drone does not need much to take it down. another plan might be to have 3 extra long strings weighed down bya small weight,,,only over the drone the drone swoops into the prop area where at least 1 of the strings gets the ruzzian drone's prop all tangled up,,, string on Ukraineian drone has a quick release mechanism that allows the FPV drone to return to base. The 3 strings attached to a 4 ft post down below drone,,, so if one string does not work,,, drone can go in for another attack.

Dogfighting drones, why not, when i was a kid i flew RC airoplanes, and the class i flew was dogfighting, you flew a ribbon behind your RC aircraft, then tried to cut your opponents ribbon with your prop, they didn't look like replica anything they were a crude monoplane with an almost delta boddy but with a tail, they got damaged quite often but it was all the fun of it.

Just the prop strike to a control surface (preferably the elevator) will often cause loss of control.
@@mike_oe OK, so no BOOM! required. Just break a control. I noticed in the video they seam to favor the wing/underside.

I was thinking about it later and all possibilities come down to knowing the design of both drones (strength vs weakness). For example to they have externalor internal actuator rods. Carrying explosives is a difficult weight penalty etc.
So hitting/damaging a control surface is sensible :)

A copter drone is a lot slower as a plane drone. Therefore, this video is b s.
By the maximum speed parameter, yes, but when an airplane-type drone has already arrived in a given area and is conducting reconnaissance, it does not fly at the maximum speed possible for it. On the contrary, it flies at the lowest possible speed (only allowing flight stability to be maintained) - for the convenience of conducting surveillance and to save fuel (battery charge for small-range drones) in order to maximize the time spent in the air. And it is during these periods that copter drones intercept them - when they fly at a minimum speed.
