The thing about small countries really is very accurate. As we have a bunch of major European powers around us, Belgium tends to be forgotten. Unless it's about Congo that is and that's not exactly something you want to be remembered for. Only other stuff people seem to know us for are Brussels (EU and NATO HQ), chocolate, waffles and beer so I guess that's nice, but a bit more recognition would be lovely. XD
