Look closer and you will see that not only Jill, but a staffer literally walks up just to make sure Biden can go down a single step without falling. He isn't obvious about it, but just look at his body language and it's clear.
I would think that a President with a supposedly great bill of health would be able to go down a single step without staffers being at his hip in case he falls.

I am a hospice nurse who’s admitted thousands of dementia patients. According to the FAST scale, there are 7 stages of Alzheimer’s disease and I can confidently say Biden is in stage 5, based on what I’ve seen from him publicly. In private, he may actually be somewhere in stage 6. Stage 7 is where they become hospice eligible with an average life expectancy of 6-12 months if the disease follows the natural progression.
