@@foodloverasian143 In that case, find ice cream from Světozor. It is similar to soft serve, but does not contain air or milk, only fruit and sugar. This makes it unique kind of treat, and the combination of banana and strawberries is the best.
One of their shops is right next to Venceslas square, on street Vodičkova, which is the one with trams. Just 50 meters, right next to tram station. If uncertain, backtrack people carrying cones of icecream.

@@foodloverasian143 If you are looking for traditional food, try hot dog - Párek v Rohlíku. There is a very popular stand at Náměstí Míru, it is a one station from Museum by the green line. There is nothing stellar about it, just a fresh breadroll, good moustard and high quality sausage inside. But unlike americans, we punch a hole in middle of the breadroll, squirt sauce inside and insert the sausage. This makes it easier to eat while moving. There are more stands from the same company in Prague, I just do not know where.
My next advise for original food is to find good "Cukrárna". We have inherited the austrian hungarian tradition of sweet desserts, and it is way ahead of germany, in both taste balance and food presentation. Czechia was the part of the country which was producing sugar for the empire (not from sugarcane, but from sugar beet). We even produced first sugar cubes and refined white sugar. Even the small shops have around 10 different desserts, so make more visits during your stay.
The shop selling the banana/strawberry ice cream also deals with desserts, however you can´t eat 3 desserts and an ice cream on top of it at once. Or can you?

Letná is not called Stalin because there is a monument in honor of Josef Stalin. That is complete nonsense and a lie. He is nicknamed Stalin because there WAS a monument that was blown up because Stalin was a monster. The monument was replaced by a giant metronome .... This is only the part of the park, that is used by skaters (who use this nickname the most). + The Vltava, not the Danube, flows through Prague.

  • @marikosan222

Přezdívá se mu Stalin, protože tam BYL pomník který byl odpálen, protože byl Stalin zrůda. Pomník byl nahrazen metronomem .... Když něco nevim, nebo to nemam ověřený, tak o tom přeci nemluvim. Some people got rather rude...
I am Czech and I don´t get why people get so upset when you call them East Europeans... That´s our history, hey, I didn´t notice that our income is comparable with German income... I didn´t notice we don´t suffer from some typically post-East European problems...

Je to fuk, mně jen vadí, když někdo vždycky (a často velmi nevybíravě) vystartuje, že nejsme žádná východní Evropa...
Ano, rozdíly v kultuře, tak jak je historie formovala jsou vidět.

This November will be our last European trip
This is why we saved all of our own country for last to travel in
We are getting so much closer to the mark of the beast

Good video with two errors: 1) Prague is in Central Europe, not in Eastern Europe as he states. 2) This one is much bigger. He visits a park in Prague and says it is called Stalin park because there is a monument "honoring Joseph Stalin"! That monument was built by the communists and removed in 1956 when Khruschev exposed Stalin as mass murderer. Czech Republic is now a democracy and does not honor communist mass murderer Stalin.

Don't be so strict. It's just a matter of custom/tradition. You also eat bread with your hands, and many foreigners consider a dumpling to be bread.
