I planned a trip down to Cornwall, the far South-Westerly point of the country, for my Birthday. The trip was meant to be a casual route in Chloe's Toyota iQ, visiting various breweries and ending up at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. But upon posting online asking whether there were any car meets that week, @CornishJDM gathered all the Cornish car clubs (and others from neighbouring counties) to host one in my honour.
So it was decided that I was to instead take my Toyota Chaser, and the turnout ended up outgrowing its initial location, forcing a difficult decision for the clubs to make..

Hi Adam . Chaser's looking and sounding right . I must say , that 3rd gen Sima is whoa . Subtle paint , wheels , stance , it's got 'it' . I don't recognise the hood ornament , but it's interesting to even have one . A ba-ha bug ! Seen many a cool car in my nearly 70 years , but that's my first . I love how many So-Cal Americans used to pronounce it Baja ! So you're in good company mate . Great selection of modified cars including a blown '51-53 F-100 ? Always loved the Pacific-muscle like the Supra mk4s . A great day, and cake .What a blast !
The hood ornament on the Cima is stock, it’s an ‘acanthus’ leaf. It’s my car thanks for the kind words Peter 🙏🏻
@@Agp1980 Of course . The acanthus . The leaves were used by the Greeks to make wreaths as a 'crown' (nice segue there). Typical Japanese respect and acknowledging nobility . Respect where due ,Andrew , your car is sublime 🥰Truly !😲
@@Agp1980 Hi Andrew, absolute beauty of a car you have honestly it is just 🤌. From what I have researched and found on your channel it is a y33 Cima, on your car does it have any sort of body kit or anything on it? in no offensive way, of course, but it looks quite wide but could just be the camera lens. Completely fan boying over the car but you really have the car in perfection with colour and everything. Do you have any other sort of social media of the car ?

Everyone who lives here knows that the biggest meet is on the A30, around Bodmin, on the first Saturday of the school summer holidays.
