An asymptotically safe way for quantum gravity - Gustavo Pazzini de Brito

Abstract: In this talk, I will present the status of the asymptotic safety program for quantum gravity. I will review part of the results that give significant evidence for an ultraviolet fixed point in quantum gravity, both for pure gravity and gravity-matter systems. I will also discuss some open challenges in the field.
