Click on the "filter properties" option to disable the material properties filter. You can able to see this on the left side corner below the menu . Or You can also watch our latest tutorial in which i have shown the procedure.
When I add the tensile yield strength property of the material it does not show any options to add temperature dependency. can you please tell me how can I add temperature-dependent yield strength?
Hey so i accidentally got rid of the general material tab and cant seem to get it back and now i cant change the material i reset my pc to see if it comes back but it didnt
@@AnsysTutor i did that but it didnt bring up with general materials tab with the list of materials to choose. this was fixed when i refreshed the window in the Veiw tab. this software is very buggy lol.
Use Piecewise linear or polynomial table input if you want to put variable thermal conductivity. To know detail procedure watch our tutorial on PCM phase change material.
is it possible to add ANSI/ISO designated materials without having to manually add material properties?

Under "Physical Properties" in the toolbox, it only shows "density" - how do I get Tensile Strength, Hardness, Elongation etc.?

You need to try in different file, sometimes this happens due to software problem.
