- After having to cut into my Corrugated Underbelly of my 5th Wheel, I needed a way to repair the hole. Instead of just taping the hole shut I came up with this Solution.
TOOLS NEEDED:
-7/16" or 11mm Nut Driver or Socket and Wrench
-Silver Sharpie
-Soldering Iron
-Scissors or Razor Knife

Wow, that's the best repair job I've ever seen. I've got a similar problem. thanks
how bout a zipper?
The nuts just started still for you? You're a magician plain and simple
You can make the bracket iut of plexiglass. Drill straight holes for the outer part and tap the holes for the inner part
Wow that is a great belly board- mine is more like a woven plastic fabric. I like this better.
Nice fix... however, when you put the bolts in on the door flap, how did you work the nut when sealing it up? Or did you tap your 3D printed brackets so the bolt just went on in? I'm a little lost at this step.
Thank you for the video. I don’t have a way to do 3d printing. Would you be able to sell a few brackets to me?
Good job!
How'd you get the nut on the inside?
How did you determine where to cut to have access to your tank?
Would like to know this also…
Hey Shawn,
Could you still make some of the brackets and what would the cost be?
Eternabond makes black tape. It will outlast the plastic.
That's one way to do it. I would suggest just cleaning the perimeter of the cuts with rubbing alcohol and using Dicor tape or Flexseal tape. Both will easily hold up without using additional hardware. If you want extra hold, you could always use adhesive caulking and or semi-permanent hot glue. Toodles.
Hi! Is there any chance to purchase the brackets from you? I don't have a 3d 🖨.
How do you lock the nuts to the top of brackets
ive taped the cutout in my trailer twice and it keeps falling apart..gonna try this
I was going to 3D print the brackets but it seems the link is no longer active. Do you have an updated one?

@@milburnist what’s your email?
So is this considered a heated enclosed underbelly? Just curious as I'm new to the travel trailer world...
This is not a heated underbelly
We had a red squirrel (family?) get into the underbelly of our old camper, there were so many pine cones in there, the underbelly was sagging. I cut multiple holes (access hatches similar to this) to remove them. To close the unit back up, I placed the lightest deck boards I could find inside, overlapping the seam and screwed up into them and then sealed it with rubber roof tape to keep moisture out.
legit!
How did you get the nuts to stay on the back of the brackets when you can't reach in there to tighten them?
I just put a little piece of tape over them to hold them in place and poked a hole through the tape on each nut so the bolt could still thread all the way through
@@CollaGoUnLTD this was the part you left out but now I get it. Thnx
Interested in your brackets if you are still selling them
Can I order 3 of those brackets from you?
What tool you use to cut into underbelly?
use the tape made for corroplast...never had it come off
What tape is that?
Thank you for doing this video. Very smart fix!
Good job. Maybe want to put some blue loctite on the bolts so they don’t come vibrate off while driving down the road.
Good job! Where did you buy the brackets? Thanks
I 3D printed them from this link www.thingiverse.com/thing:4867559
