Another excellent video where you exceptionally captured not only the beauty of the cathedral's stained glass windows as well as the charm of the city of León.
Construction of the Cathedral of León began in 1205 and the Cathedral of Reims in 1211. I don't know where you get the information about the French influence or that it is a copy of the Cathedral of Reims. Due to chronology and cultural development of the Iberian Peninsula, I would say that it is the other way around.
Well it is what we got out of the internet. And a quick search in google will show this. That the Cathedral of Leon is based on the layout of the Reims Cathedral. It is strange because of the constructions date as you say, but remember the gothic influence in Spain came from Europe, not the other way around.
Muchas gracias por tu vídeo, y dar a conocer mi ciudad. Es una ciudad preciosa que siempre merece una visita
Gracias a ti por verlo y espero que te haya gustado! Saludos! 🙂
