    Appreciate the shoutout friend 🙌 No joke have been toying around with an idea like this for months but I am nowhere as experienced with hardware as you are lol. Hope you can do some more iterations and designs, would love to see this project flourish!!

    Random guy here, I also made something quite similar, but with a couple more functions a few months ago using an esp32 (am I trying to get more people to watch my video on it? Maybe).
    Anyhow, kudos for actually making it into a proper device and not just a jumble of wires, nice job.

      Heyyy just watched your video, WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY 'couple more functions' THAT THING IS GENERATIONS AHEAD. XD
      Great work my next plan was to move to esp32 for better performance, but the thing you made is awesome and better than what I could do ʷʰᶦᶜʰ ᵐᵉᵃⁿˢ ᴵ ᵐᶦᵍʰᵗ ˢᵗᵉᵃˡ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᶜᵒᵈᵉ ᵗᵒᵒ ʰᵃʰᵃ

      If by "better performance" you mean "crashes half the time you search for a song" then sure. :P
      But feel free to grab the code from GitHub and ask if you have any issue (i can possibly also get you a version with button support if i got the time).
      Would be nice to see someone more capable make it into a proper thing.

    334th subscriber here, awesome video, just a small tip, check audio volume of music in post-prod, the music at the beginning was a bit too loud (maybe lower it when speaking). Don't let this discourage you, good luck and thanks for interesting video!

    • @really-goose
      @really-goose  11 дней назад

      Yes, it could have been a little lower but the mic that I use are cheap 20$ aliexpress mic that have a lot of static and background noise to hide that I use a dialogue booster (noise suppressor) also a lil loud background music.
      P.S. Thanks for your amazing feedback, I am still learning and this helps a lot

    Ouch the audio mixing in the intro is painfully bad, please try to make the voice at least 10dB louder than bg music.
    Which is a nitpick given the rest of the vid is nice enough.

    • @really-goose
      @really-goose  День назад

      Yeah still learning this 10dB tip will come hand next time thnx

    • @SianaGearz
      @SianaGearz День назад +1

      @@really-goose This is a simplified rule of thumb advice. Masters of sidechain and EQ can make the voice nominally nearly as loud as background music and still make the voice easy to read, but that's advanced audio wizardry and there's many ways to do it wrong.

    • @really-goose
      @really-goose  День назад +1

      @ is there any resource that is good for audio engineering or editing is general? When I search how to edit RUclips videos all I see is the Mr. Beast type stuff, I have no problem with that but I don’t want to edit my stuff like that with 100 sound effects. 🙃

    • @SianaGearz
      @SianaGearz День назад

      @@really-goose Too many and none particularly comprehensive and beginner friendly that i know of? Like i don't know whether you'd gain much from Dan Worrall's channel for example.
      I guess skipping the whole meandering back and forth between too much and too little information and hazardous levels of dubious advice is what all sorts of paid/subscription courses (by companies often described as having scummy business practices) are purportedly for.
      Have you noticed how many successful youtubers of random topics (excluding the ones who have always hired editors) have a secret background in music, with a random MIDI keyboard or DAW controller occasionally accidentally snaking its way into the shot?
