Damn, it's about time a trailer comes out for this film. It feels like it's been around forever. I hope it finds an audience and success because it's such a great little film.
Trust me, saw this in March at a festival and you don't even know the half of it from the trailer. Possibly the best movie I've seen all year - and I watch a ton for my job.

Saw this movie at the BAM Cinema Fest! It was really, um, spectacular. I really enjoyed it, more than I was expecting despite all the great reviews I had read prior to going in. Just a little bummed by Hollywood's need to include the final scene in trailers.
It's a very good book that's worth reading. She's not a manic pixie dream girl at all. More a sky little nerd that Sutter makes a project, if it follows the book at all.

A24 Films and director James Ponsoldt make a very high-ranking coming-of-age movie My first introduction to Miles Teller and also a continuation of Shailene Woodley’s acting talents This manages to avoid all the typical trappings of a story we’re familiar with; instead of crude sex jokes and debauchery the film really let’s the performances of its two leads carry everything I’m very glad too the main character I could relate to so much since he shares a lot of similarities with me Memories, emotions and a little bit of pain are what comes with being on the brink of adulthood Your life very well could be something else if you don’t start making changes, living in the moment isn’t a bad thing but it helps to have ambition, it’s not a bad thing to bring joy to others, there will always be another now tomorrow, keeping your guard up to not get hurt doesn’t always last A very good supporting cast includes a very young Brie Larson, Mary Elizabeth-Winstead, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Kyle Chandler This is a very honest and realistic look at teenagers that actually almost made me cry so that’s a real accomplishment It feels appreciated to have a movie like this with a main character becoming his own person inspite of himself with a charming, likable romantic lead next to him

I know there will be some twists in the ending, but 75% of the plot has already been spoiled, and I've watched more than enough Hollywood romantic comedy/dramas to know how this ends. I'm not saying it's a waste of time, but it's just kinda predictable.

You're right it's so bad. Boring. The director tried way too hard to go for a "realistic" style but it was weird and boring, characters always talking fast and talking over each other, the leads fell way too fast & easy, there nothing keeping them apart, there was zero conflict at all until much later. The plot made it sound like a similar take to a walk to remember, troublemaker falls in love with the shy bookish girl, but that wasn't it at all there was no substance here. I commend anyone who stayed awake during this.

This, Say Anything and Perks Wallflower all have a very special feel to them. There are so many teen movies but these are probably the best I’ve seen.
Heart wrenching movie for an adult to watch because you know what they're going through but we also know how it ends...😥
I watched it as a young teen was still a great movie
