- One of the greatest stories from the world of Mountaineering.
Anurag Maloo is an Indian climber who went on an expedition to climb Mount Annapurna in April last year, but an accident happened and he fell into a deep crevasse. Multiple rescue attempts were made but with no luck for 3 days.
So, Anurag was stuck inside of a narrow crevasse, injured from the fall, at an altitude of nearly 6000 Meters on one of the deadliest mountains on the planet that has an extremely high fatality rate.
After 3 days and 3 nights, an attempt was made to recover his body, and a team of skilled climbers managed to get inside the crevasse. To their shock and awe, Anurag was still breathing. That set off a race against time. A race to save his life.
An entire community of people from 60 countries came together and contributed in different ways to one cause - #bringanuragback

ALL the best Anurag Bhai. ❤❤

Amazing conversation what positive energy Anurag is " force of nature " truly.. super. But I am intrigued to know how Anurag and many climbers of the present generation think they can attempt the "deadliest" as he himself put it..when they have sub par technical skills / training amd experience climbing some mountains on " guided " trips which is basically like high altitude tourism makes them think they are prepared to take on bigger challenges lots of bravado but no sense, I am not being harsh just stating the facts..do your work before you go up there risking not only your own life but also those of others..hats off to all those who pulled off his rescue to put there neck out there, let us not make this as a normal please !!
Clearly he has had enough and more skills to make the climb. Choosing the wrong rope could have happened to anyone else too.
Please give his social media handle! I want to contact him!
