Hey, just subscribed to your channel. I really enjoy watching the mystery unboxings. Both of those boxes were really good. Forsaken 64 is a really cool game. Love Borderlands, had it on the Xbox 360 and played it a lot. Jak and Daxter is one of my favorite platformers on the ps2. Awesome video, gonna check out some of your other videos as well

Box wars! I had Loved Again Media for around 4 months last year but it just wasn't worth it at the time with the amount of loose discs and only 5 or 10 with no extras. Hopefully, they've gotten better inventory since they've just relocated to a new warehouse this year. Great unboxing challenge.
I was pretty close to cancelling Loved Again Media following the last two months but this box as earned a continuation for now, thank you for watching and looking forward to May's boxes!

Hard to judge this as a head to head with 10 games vs 5 games but I would say if you count the first 5 games from LAM that VGM would win. 🤷♂️ I had actually thought about doing this as a series awhile back too. I was gonna do VGM vs Retro stores but honestly figured it may not look so great for my retro stores (they need to make money and the overhead is harder to justify deals for them vs VGM) I didn’t want to mess up any local relationships. Solid boxes from both services here though and cool to see them send along some good replacements.
I guess that when you factor cost VGM $54 vs LAM $40 it is more justified the head to head lol if I do the VGM 10 I think that's around $80. That would of been a cool series but yeah we need to factor in overhead costs for retail retro stores, although you could do a feature on great deals found at local shops, tons of great games I have found there for 5 to 10 obviously not heavy hitters but great forgotten games
For GBA and DS I don't ever think I got a game I wanted to play. 90% were kid games and the rest were imports. I think I have .05% of that collection that I would actually would play and it's a game show game. Borderlands is a good. No way on the Starsky and Hutch, what luck, or bad luck I should say. Best game from VGM is Starsky and Hutch, for the double team! That is an awesome pull for JaK and Daxter. That's my pick for LAM.
I was going to write that I don't feel like I'm watching your channel unless you get an Assassins Creed game, and you got one. 🤣🤣🤣 Black Flag was definitely one of my favorite ones. It's not tough, I think Loved Again Media won hands down.
I love handheld gaming but I really don’t care for the values cause a lot of them hold very little value. I could hit a store and get a lot of handheld games for cheaper values so it doesn’t make sense for me personally to put these games in my boxes to add for my gaming collection
I think I am going to pass on adding any additional hand held systems and will probably end up dropping the 3DS I would rather get Genesis or SNES games instead, because what you are saying is exactly what I am thinking

Dude you gotta contact VGM. There is no excuse for them to send you a game that doesn’t work. And then try and make it better by sending 2 games. And then send it again. I get they didn’t “have” to do that. But they are a premium service. If you sell old games you have to make sure that they look okay and that they work. That’s really it. I get they have good customer service, but there is no reason that a customer needs to reach out to them this frequently. Every RUclipsr I’ve seen with these boxes has had to it at least a few times and it really is ridiculous. Sorry for the rant, but they need to be held accountable for this kind of stuff

VGM doesn’t track what games they send you , so it’s 100% normal that if the list isn’t updated then it’s not on them. You are free to resell the extra game . I find the customer service at VGM is amazing, I rarely get duplicate titles and the last time was something I caught for them that was a problem in the inventory management cause one cart has the title a little differently then what the website listed so they got confused. Loved again media is definitely an interesting service but I got a lot of duplicates or games with no manuals or loose disks that the service for me isn’t what I want. My VGM games are cart only so completes are not an issue . I try to film within a day of receiving my box so if there is a dup or an issue I can respond to them quickly and sometimes I will get a replacement within 3 days which is crazy fast. Because of that I stick with VGM
