Three Forgotten Parts of the Gospel - July 5, 2024 DD

Today's reading from Acts 24 reminds us that the Gospel does not change. It does not conform to the times; rather, it confronts sin and teaches who God is and what He does. As Christians, we should remember to teach the Gospel the way the disciples did in the New Testament-with a heart on fire, conviction from the Holy Spirit, and anointing from the Lord.
Acts 24:24-25 NLT
A few days later Felix came back with his wife, Drusilla, who was Jewish. Sending for Paul, they listened as he told them about faith in Christ Jesus. 25 As he reasoned with them about righteousness and self-control and the coming day of judgment, Felix became frightened. "Go away for now," he replied. "When it is more convenient, I'll call for you again."
