Jeff, I am so, so glad you sought out help when you needed it, and gained the acceptance of your family. I am also glad you got to see other people for who the really were, and distanced yourself. There are so many things about ourselves we don't wear on our sleeves, I personally don't shout religious or political views to co-workers and strangers, so I don't feel the need to shout orientation. But I also agree we need not hide either. I love your point about letting ppl get to know you.

Thank you for this vid!!! The one thing I learned over the years is that America is so different from Holland when it comes to coming out. Coming out here is like.."Ok...anything else you wanna tell??' , while coming out in America is a huge struggle and people condemn and leave you. Support has no boundries, as long it doesn't kill people....

Awesome video Jeff. I'm glad your family took it well. Hate that you lost friends over it tho. Assholes is a good word for them.
    Hugs
