I go for the northern most part of the map it has so many trees to continue building, also rarely or no player goes there. Also recommend start building at the highest point of the Tokyo bridge and the biggest snow mountain on the south west I rarely see people hang around there, everyone goes to the other snow mountain areas. Also storms tend to move to the floating islands and in some matches, if you do a sky base from those floating islands you ascend by about 20 stairs/slopes, you can edit a corkscrew staircase upward only or use flat mats n slopes on the spot. I tend to have 3 med kits or more, a katana to prevent fall damage n easy fights, and 3 big shield pots since the drop rate is high, pulse grenades to just in case I get chased, also I do use them to flee into final storms n perform heal off wins or knock enemies into storm.
