High five points of articulation I want it to say I am a big fan of yours and I really love your videos. I will always be there to support you no matter what bro so you’re the best RUclipsr toy action figure review ever.
My favorites are still the House of X Wolverine. I love the cool updated redesign of his Brown and tan suit. 2nd favorite is the Love Triangle Wolverine. I think the unmasked 97 head on the AoA is the best skin-tone match-up. And i would LOVE to see a Marvel Legends figure of the X-Men Evolution Wolverine! That Russet and black suit is my absolute favorite!
Awesome review! I just wanted to thank you for all the head swaps that you did. Your the first one that did the head swaps with the different Wolverine. It really helped me out on getting this figure. I just wish that all of the skin tones matched.
Because you used the screaming head from the 5 pack you techincally used the unmasked head from hot claws wolvie and judging from the lighting im guessing the yellow on hot claws is bit to lemony to 100% match. One way to get a deeper bend on the arms is the bend only the lower half while keeping the upper half straight
So, do to limited space I can't display all my X-Men at the same time, so I alternate decades. For my 90s Wolverine I just use Love Triangle, but for the 70s Giant Size era I use Love Triangle head on the 80 years body
The 2018 tiger stripe wolverine what I mean is the standalone version of it not the love triangle 3 pack definitely slashes of the top of my list there
Ah yes that is a really great one. I mean it's pretty much the basis for all other Wolverine figures Hasbro has made since then, so you really can't go wrong with him. I think of him as the Wolverine equivalent of Pizza Spidey. But I never liked how dark and orangy the yellow is
I still prefer the cel shaded vhs series so I passed on him. Hopefully I'll find magneti in store on sale since I have the one that looks almost identical, i think it's the collosus baf wave.
I feel like Hasbro should take a page out of McFarlane’s playbook and do BAF waves at 25 and regular releases at 20. They won’t but I would take that easily. Also the title says 95 instead of 97.
The first Wolverine figure i ever owned was also the first X-Men figure i ever owned. One Easter when I was in Elementary School, my mother bought the ToyBiz 1991 Uncanny X-Men Wolverine and the 90s ToyBiz Colossus.
I'll probably try swapping the 97 accessories onto the 80th. I just prefer the limbs on the old body being more detailed and muscular. The softer sculpt probably will work for a more retro look.
Mr 5POA, do you think that for the next review of the new Wolverine Amazing you can change the heads for the neutral masked heads of the Vintage Wolverine or the Wolverine of the Bonebreaker Wave?
Honestly the new sculpted pant part on the legs looks awful when you try doing the split on him, it breaks the sculpt of the pant and make it looks awkward. I just prefer the VHS Wolverine and any older Wolverine with the underwear, it just looks more seamless.
Ever since I saw the wolverine two batmans kissing meme, it has literally ruined wolverine costume for me to the point where I am glad that hugh jackman did not wear the cowl
The weird stubble that looks like acne and the super sculpted arm fur that is unpainted and transitions into super bare skin way too early is quite strange. I think I'm done buying figures with that goofy neck hinge. It doesn't work very well, and the different colors of plastic they use drives me nuts. 3:28 for reference. Why can't they color match it?
I hadn't thought of the stubble as acne, but now I can't unsee it lol I also agree completely on the arm hair. As for the mismatched plastics, not sure why they are never quite right except that they are different types of plastic. Maybe that has something to do with it? McFarlane has that issue too, so I guess it's more of an industry thing than a Hasbro thing.

Thanks so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
Oh boy yeah, I’ve always loved Wolverine with the big ear thingys, just like with big eyes with spidey, and large black part around Deadpool’s eye
I tend to prefer a more medium eye for Spidey, but otherwise I agree!

You're very welcome!
Love this figure! I did end up changing the claws with some custom metal claws, though, just because those flimsy claws really bug me.
I think I will keep this one as is, but I want to upgrade the claws on Love Triangle
did you make them or buy them, if so, you have a link? thanks
@@jesus3squivel479 i bought them from ebay, don’t remember from who, though.
Tbh I think BAF need to be phased out for Deluxe figures and leave that extra plastic to be allotted to more accessories
I'd be okay with that, but still like the idea of at least a couple waves a year. Like the Guardians 3 wave where the whole set goes together
My first wolverine after all these years, glad I waited. Now before someone judge me, I tried to avoid X-Men, as it's a whole another rabbit hole lol
No judgment here! Just a love for all things action figure. Everyone's collection is there own.
Long ears all the way! This is my favorite marvel legends wolverine so far. Definitely getting him.
He's a good one alright!

@@5POAFigureReviews always happy to contribute to informative reviews
YES YES YES! Wolverine & Storm 4EVA! For me it's like Marvel's Batman & Wonder Woman, best DC headcanon pairing, don't at me.
I love the idea of Batman and Wonder Woman having the tension, but I don't know that I want them to fully embrace it.
another terrific review Jason 🤘 haven't picked up wolverine yet but have picked up magneto and gambit
Thanks! I may get Bishop
Another X-Men fan who wants Wolverine and Storm to be together, sweet! Storm is the woman who Logan really loves!
I’m rocking first appearance 80th body with love triangle head as my yellow suited Wolverine.
So, do to limited space I can't display all my X-Men at the same time, so I alternate decades. For my 90s Wolverine I just use Love Triangle, but for the 70s Giant Size era I use Love Triangle head on the 80 years body
I love your content bro. I hope you make a content on what's the best Marvel legends iron man right now.
I have an Iron Man Versus coming in the next few weeks in fact. Thanks for the kind words

@@5POAFigureReviews to me it’s not a big problem
You can switch the shoulder pads off the 80 years wolverine if you want to do a head swap with the 97
I still prefer the cel shaded vhs series so I passed on him. Hopefully I'll find magneti in store on sale since I have the one that looks almost identical, i think it's the collosus baf wave.
In general I just don't like cel shading, but to each their own! More than enough Wolverines for everyone to choose from
I feel like Hasbro should take a page out of McFarlane’s playbook and do BAF waves at 25 and regular releases at 20. They won’t but I would take that easily. Also the title says 95 instead of 97.
Dude thank you so much for catching that!
Great video ,really enjoyed all the comparisons and head swaps.
Glad you liked it!
Id like to see an ultimate version with the brown costume
That would be a good one! Ultimate X-Men is an untapped gold mine for Hasbro. That and the Ellis run.
The first Wolverine figure i ever owned was also the first X-Men figure i ever owned.
One Easter when I was in Elementary School, my mother bought the ToyBiz 1991 Uncanny X-Men Wolverine and the 90s ToyBiz Colossus.
That's a really nice story!

That would look cool
I can't unsee the kissing Batman 😮
You're welcome 😁
I prefer the apocalypse wave version. I love the angry face and metallic blue.
I also prefer the blue on the Apocalypse wave one, I just never got into that more orangy yellow
Picked it up the other day, Solid figure...but needs a "mean face" head.
That really would have been the perfect cherry on top
Mr 5POA, do you think that for the next review of the new Wolverine Amazing you can change the heads for the neutral masked heads of the Vintage Wolverine or the Wolverine of the Bonebreaker Wave?
The other tiger stripes are better, they have more detail and more jacked/ripped looking
It definitely is one of the best at what he does lol
Yes lol
@@5POAFigureReviews yep!

Yeah I don't care for them either.
I lost one retracted claw hand as soon as I opened it. Ope.
Oh no! The carpet goblins strike again!
Soo. No comparison with VHS? VHS had the screaming/angry hs.
Sorry, I don't have that one
Ever since I saw the wolverine two batmans kissing meme, it has literally ruined wolverine costume for me to the point where I am glad that hugh jackman did not wear the cowl
Oh no! Sorry it was ruined for ya

Amen!
