13:00 Watching and still amazed that we were literally walking around here a week ago. Dinners at Laturna Tavern, Tramps and 3 little pigs. Was our first time in Paphos and we'll be back next year. Thanks for the update and video.
The videos that I saw of the storm and the streets and alleyways like rivers looked incredible. It looks like they recovered fairly quickly. Maybe the drains were blocked like in our town in England.
I was on Leofiros Nikolaou Nikolaidi when the worst hit, the hail and flood. The whole road flooded in minutes, the water was running fast down the road like a fast moving river. Unfortunately for me a branch must have been carried in the water and wedged under the undercover of the car. When I moved the car it bent the cover backwards so then dragging on the road. The breakdown people came in about 2 hours and removed the whole cover so I could continue to Peyia. €150 for new cover.
Malta has weather like this, I know because my daughter lived there for twelve years, thankfully she was never affected but Sleima always was when there was heavy rain with cars floating down the roads.
I can thoroughly recommend the video about the rebirth of Berengaria hotel and hope the storm damage is cleared by the time I get there in mid December 😂😂
Thank-you very much 🇨🇾💕
Great video, thanks for keeping us up to date.
Our pleasure!

The first storms are always the worst in terms of blockages, because they wash away all the dust that has built up over the summer.
boy were we lucky in Coral Bay and area
Did you not get hit by the storm there?
@@PaphosLife no just watched the storm from the window

It's pretty much all cleared away now to be honest!
The correct pronunciation is - Pos- i - doh- nis Avenue . ❤
I called it that and I was told by a Cypriot that it was Poz-e-doh-nos.
I can't win!
