She is from european (mother is bulgarian) arabic (father is palestinian parents with christian faith, she lives in Israel as an israeli citizen. So the hateful comments here are useless. You should take example on her, lots of people should. She is wants peace not hate for Palestine and Israel.

I had just seen the movie, Lemon Tree, and heard Mira Awad for the first time. Then I researched her on RUclips and found this song and I was blown away. What a production and what a fine talent. I played it five times with earphones. Still blown away years later!
