Been following for about two years and really appreciate the details of each project's individual steps and then sharing the short term and long term results. Pity that in Germany we are not able to get your products. Appreciate as well as the constant improvements and changes in the video editing styles :). Keep up the great lawn and video work!
Well, I'm now looking for a cylinder mower, petrol scarifier, rotary seed flinger and a really wide rake. The wife is going to go mad. Brilliant videos.
If you get a cylinder mower, depending on how much you cut, make sure you backlap it and keep the bed knife sharp. Baroness offer the best cylinder blades at the moment using Japanese steel 👌
Really appreciate all the detail you put in your videos, explaining everything in detail but not so complicated we can’t understand. You let us know having nice looking grass doesn’t need to be complicated, it just needs making some time and using the right products My garden is looking so much better because of it Yesterday, I scalped, scarified using a electric Cobra machine, levelled off some dips in the ground, seeded, top dressed using jacks magic, fertilised and watered Hoping to have some good growth in the 2 weeks and then do this same process to help the grass really bed in
Makes a massive difference. Even if you put garden fleece on part of the new seed then move it to a different section. I've built scarecrows out and hung rubber ducks from the washing line - the birds don't care. Best solution is cover it up for 10-15 days
Great video as always. I scarified my lawn today for the first time ever after watching your videos. I used an electric machine from Screwfix - cheap but worked well. Large amounts of thatch came out. I think it probably needs a another scarify but the bins were full, so maybe next weekend! Keep posting the videos!
Oreet pal how’s it goin, loving the channel refreshing change from the usual lot, I work out an about in Chorley as grounds maintenance so will keep my eyes peeled and come and say hello 👋 subbed
After following your channel I've done my lawn today so fingers crossed in 7-10 days I'll have some progress ready for summer....followed all your tips so it should be fine 🙂 Thanks 👌👌 What Bosch model is that mower..?
Cracking job. Love the garden. Nice gazebo, nice pleached trees and cracking Attenborough impersonation😊. Some advice if I may, 3 weeks ago I put down moss killer thinking I had a lot of moss but only a few black patches turned up, 1 week after that I put down some weed killer. Which then poured down 4hrs after applying but it actually seems to have had an effect. Now the question, I need to overseed but cannot for about 8 weeks due to the weed killer. Should I put down a soluble feed down until I can overseed or use a granular which lasts 3 months. Ooh, love the jacket!!
Lovin' your work Daniel, lovin' your work. I shaved, scarified overseeded and top dressed my lawn at the same time that you did this one. Sadly I didn't cover with fleece. Now I only have a VERY few signs of germination. Should I hang on with fingers crossed or overseed again and fleece?
Hi Daniel thanks for the encouragement. I should have mentioned that I applied a helping of Steller at the time and its due for another dose now. Am I ok to go ahead?
Hi Dan, finally finished my decorating, just in time for the good weather. Scalped my lawns last week, scarified and today over seeded and covered with Jacks Magic. Happy days. Sorry I can’t enter your green jacket competition but I don’t do Facebook 🫣
What Bosch mower do you use Dan? Last year after doing a lawn renovation, I had to leave it a while as my rotary would just suck up remaining compost and partially germinated seeds. But leaving it too long just means it takes ages to get it back down to a nice height.
Impressive as always, thanks. Can I give a shout out to Rise & Shine, I have applied two doses over the last 5/6 weeks, the weather here for the past 10 days has been too wet to get on to cut it until today when the amount of growth was an embarrassment so number 3 on the Hayter seemed suitable, standing back looking at my afternoons work I was impressed by the quantity and rich green colour of the grass. When do I start with my Equilibrium ?
@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert Not wholesale, I will be hand scarifying in a few small patches that I did not get around to repairing last year then over seeding and top dressing, I am too old to start using Facebook 😃
Great videos. Thanks. I’ve only got heavy mowers, one rotary and one cylinder. Is this a problem for the first cut after overseeding and which mower would be best? Thanks again
Hi Daniel, just found your channel thanks for the detailed videos. Couple of quick questions if you see these, what should I do with creeping charlie, it seems to be taking over my lawn faster than I can pull it out. I don't have a cylinder mower that can scalp the lawn, what do you recomend as an alternative, if there is one?
Loving these videos. Do you recommend any 'all in one products' for the amateur, instead of needing lots of different ones that probably won't get used?
I’ve got the same Bosch mower that you use. I know you’ve got your Allet and your Hayter for cutting low and scalping but for the Bosch only go down to number 2 like mine?
My front lawn is decent and so was the back lawn but I have a female dog and 2 kids 8 and 9 who cause a lot of wear and tear on the back lawn. Any tips ? Or should I just try and keep the front lawn as the one with most attention? I scarify and aerate myself but lawn master carry out the fertiliser and weed kill treatment.
Hi Daniel, all the feeds and products are a bit confusing for a newb, is there just one product (a feed) that you advice? My lawn is a young turf layed in oct(new build) thanks
Hi Dan, (possibly stupid) question in regards to using multiple products; if you have 200ml of product requiring 5ltr of water per 50m2, and are using 4 products at once, do you require 20ltr of water or is it just 5ltr for all 4? (assume all products mix 200ml per 5ltr for sake of argument). Thanks as always, Dean.

Seeded my backyard last week, bloody pigeons are out there eating it all day. It's a bit big to sheet up. Great job, looks lovely.

HI. what kind of grass did you use? and what kind of grass do you recommend for my garden which is not always sunny? There are a lot of trees..
If you're overseeding. remember, one for the lawn, one for the birds.
2 for the birds round my way

Losing the battle there just keep the front in trim and hit anyone who goes near it with a large stick, its a good deterrent

is it 1 part product to 25 part water so if your using 340ml product you need to mix with 8.5L water?

Once the nutes taken in its gona be crazy green

I know all fluids are important, but if you were to use just one would say Stella bio boost?
Ps great video again
Depends what you want? Galactic if your looking for a green up or Steller if your looking for a healthier working plant
A good combo is Steller and Galactic but also a dosebof equilibrium would be good as a granular alternative
