You have no idea how much of a relief this video was omg thank you so much for making this!!!!! It's a shame how many women the US educational system has failed to inform..... I'm 22 and just now learning this, like what the actual frickin heck?!
I am someone who always felt that cervical fluid was abnormal growing up too! I have 2 older sisters and neither of them have ever mentioned it to me nor did my mother. We just all have always worn “panty liners” forever just because our mother did and still does and so do we 😑 I HATE the feeling of being wet from fluid especially while at work or doing something that I’m unable to run to the restroom. I literally wear a panty liner 24/7 when not on my period 😖I need to look into those reusable panty liners! Esp if they have organic. Would love to make that switch! I hate buying panty liners on top of pads and tampons. So glad 🙏🏻 to have found your page! I’m ordering the lunette cup also over the weekend!!💃🏻😄
Thank you for saying that wearing pantiliners every day is probably not a good idea. I do this and it makes sense that I shouldn't. You need it to breathe.
I get very watery fluids right after my period (cycle day 8-9), sometimes I even wake up in the morning and feel like I've peed myself. However, I've never felt this watery sensation while ovulating, that is usually when it is more egg white and stringy. I tell myself that my vagina is cleaning itself after the period is gone, and that's why I get the watery fluids :P
I have definitely noticed a change since going commando @ home (I just wear my long summer dresses around the house). I go commando in the summer often as well while out whenever I wear dresses. I am an avid panty liner wearer 🙈 but maybe I need to reconsider. I have always felt as though I was a weirdo for discharging so much for a majority of my life. Thank you for this ♥️
Love this video, Victoria! I didn't really start learning about my cycle's ins and outs until we started trying for a baby. There is so much "normal" stuff that I just never knew about and wish I had learned at a younger age. I feel so much more empowered now and share my knowledge with all my girlfriends :) Thanks for doing what you do!
This is so good, Victoria! Increased cervical fluid was one of my early pregnancy symptoms. Also, it is important to note that breastfeeding has a big impact on cervical fluid...especially as the return of fertility approaches.
I love your channel so much!!!! Thank you for being you and sharing everything with all of us! Every woman needs to hear everything you've got to say. :) I have PCOS and have recently started charting to try to see if there is some form of pattern to my cycles, if I'm ovulating etc. It's the most magical thing becoming more in-tune with your body!
I experience daily heavy discharge since the beginning of puberty which I was shamed for since my mother and sister do not deal with it. I started wearing disposable pantyliners DAILY for years up until recently. I currently use reusable cloth pantyliners because just using underwear is not an option (as the discharge goes through to my pants). One thing that does help me (only slightly) is not using toilet paper after peeing, and instead wash with water and pat dry with a towel (this is what we do culturally).
I’ve always checked CF for natural family planning and found this interesting. I think more women need to know how normal this is so it’s good you spoke about it. I did experience more CF when I was pregnant. I wouldn’t use anything as I don’t think it’s healthy. I’ve never had a bladder or yeast infection so I agree about air flow. Ha
There is one unhealthy discharge you will probably get as a woman (it is a very common and there are many causes) That is a candidal infection (vaginal thrush). The discharge will be thick and white resembling curdled milk and may have lumpy bits. This is usually accompanied by itching and a distinct yeasty smell(but not always). You may also see some redness or feel a burning sensation. Usually female patients get this after antibiotic use which is why you should also take a probiotic to restore normal vaginal flora. There are so many other causes but it is important to note that this fungal infection loves sugar! So you can starve it without using medication if it is a recurring infection. There is a candida diet you can follow as well.
You can also get it from having sex with a man who has Candida over growth . I am so sick of the medical industry not addressing this . So many men are dirty AF and don’t take care of their health
I experience more than the amount of cervical fluid pretty much every day post period so going commando during the while out & about is a no go for me. I am not concerned with the amount, I know that it’s just what is natural for me. I choose to wear reusable panty liners for daily wear to catch & absorb the cf as staying in wet/damp undies continuously is no bueno & leads to yeast infections for me.
I don’t disagree w what you’re saying. I think it CAN be normal, however I think that each woman needs to find THEIR normal. This is why women need to be more in tune w their reproductive cycle to know what their cycle pattern is like. Maybe for one woman she has discharge every few days and that’s normal, & another woman has daily discharge & that’s normal FOR her.

I’m switching to reusable ones! to transition to not using it
You're just the sweetest person, Victoria, thank you for making this :)
You are awesome 😊 Thank you for educating people. Wish I knew these things as a teen.

I needed this in junior high!

Switching to bamboo underwear makes a huge difference because it's moisture-wicking and breathes, so nothing stays damp. I only wear Boody undies!

I WAS THE SAME! 😩 Now it’s on and off!

What do you think about using a menstrual cup for some of the heavier days of discharge? I’ve done this before and it’s been really helpful for me.
Serioulsy CF are so interesting ! I'm so impress that my body is doing all of it !!! I sound like a freak but omg XD
I use Reusable panty liners when I'm having a lot of cervical fluid.

Thanks didn’t hear about it being normal either. Is it normal for urine to also be combined with discharge?
