Hey! That version on the archive isn't the original one! I downloaded what I assume to be the original version of this song years ago from a channel called and owned by a woman named Mikaelah. The version I have doesn't have that chatter at the beginning of it either. "Mikaelah" claimed on her Facebook page to make music and had made this song along with another one that was on her RUclips channel at the time that had the same singer, so I can't say if her story is true or not. I didn't save the other song. When it was originally uploaded, it was just called Love Comes and Goes. I originally discovered it when it was used in a MLGHwnt/Steven Suptic/Sugar Pine 7 video from years ago that's also now deleted, along with Mikaelah's RUclips channel I believe. She had said she was inspired by the sound of 80s' music which is why she made it sound like this. I believe the year that she had uploaded the video of the song was from 2012.
The artists sounds like Olivia Newton John based on the singer's voice and how she pronounces some of the words. This type of music and sound, if looked at through a US pop music lexicon, could put this track somewhere between 1981 to 1989. If this is ONJ, then it would seem to lean more to the earlier part of the 80s as she was coming out with hits like, "Twist of Fate" which featured more synth, and era specific sounds. I would agree with @GrandPoobahChuckyB in the comments about the findings of the noises at the beginning possibly saying "You're not gonna fix this are you? You're not gonna fix it? We're gonna leave it like this?" Perhaps this is a studio cut of a song that was left on the cutting room floor?

Looks like the song came from this russian website, but does anyone knows it's real origin? It looks like it came from a movie (Gremlin voice by beginning of the song?) Does anybody has an idea??
I got curious about the Gremlin voices. The ones at the beginning I'm pretty sure are saying, "You're not gonna fix this are you? You're not gonna fix it? We're gonna leave it like this?" Not sure if that's useful. The other parts are harder to hear. Still trying to get them clear.
My guess is that somebody used it for an amateur game or website because they knew using the song wouldn’t lead to copyright issues. Something similar to “How Long Will It Take” basically. I know my guess is kind of vague, but that’s the best I’ve got😂

@@GoNinty also interesting to note this song's sound. It's very compressed, so it's clearly been floating on the internet for a while. It uses real drums, yet has a disco sound ( which by the early 80s used mostly drum machines), So it's more of a power pop. It sounds non- europian with euro disco inspiration. Something tells me it could be new, but those drums sound so real, and I doubt s modern song in this style wouldn't use a drum machine.
