I started single pointed meditation 2weeks ago from your advise and I've seen a massive change already. I was doing guided meditations before and I wasn't seeing much of a change in myself. Since doing this I know I have changed because I can now control my emotions so much that I'm no longer getting affected by others negative energy and this was a big deal for me so I want to thank you so much for bringing this type of meditation to light for me and everyone else who watches your videos.
I will continue to follow you and ur guidance.
Thank you so much Ben x

Hollie, im curious have you noticed any difference in your ability to focus/concentrate? Also how long do you usually do your meditations?

Great video!! Loved the breaking down of it all. I healed myself from illness and pain with meditation. I was bedridden for 9 years after meningitis and meditation was the only thing that helped me. I meditated every day for years doing every kind of meditation. I love the single point meditation. Thank you!

This is just what I needed to hear. I’ve been meditating daily for around 8 years now, and just as I was trying to step it up and learn a new, and somewhat tricky technique I’ve been all over the place and I realise now that it’s my ego kicking and screaming. Throwing everything but the kitchen sink at me!
Just goes to show you can never underestimate the ego, even if you think you’ve mastered its distraction techniques. It’s always lurking 😂 Thanks Ben, this has been truly helpful and I’m deeply grateful.

Thank you so much for this video! I needed this explanation. I laughed through half of this, it describes my meditation attempts to a T. I have tried multiple times through my life to meditate and my ego always swept me away to say "no, not this again". I'm a newbie to all of this & I am 71 yrs old. I will keep on.

I’ve never seen a video on meditation that’s explained it so clearly and beautifully. Sometimes it feels like I’m not progressing and am not ‘good’ at meditation and should not bother. This video has totally changed that. It’s given me the clarity and patience I need to progress. Thank you Ben

I'm so glad you offered other focus points besides breathing. Many people have breathing anxiety and the myriad of meditation and relaxation techniques out there either mainly use the breath or at least incorporate it as a necessary component. I do much better with body sensation, and then choose one area, such as the left thumb, to use as a focus point. Sometimes also use the eyes to gaze at a point.

I’ve been struggling with my typical form of meditation (with eyes closed) lately. This week my higher self’s been hinting one-point-focus kind here and there. Now this video added up to a whole bunch of synchronicities
    Thank you!!!
The only concern I have with meditating with eyes open is the thing that after a couple of minutes (even with blinking) eyes get tired and it becomes harder to keep them open 🫤🫤
Still it’s so fun to keep trying and learning 🤗🤗

I have been shown time and time again lately too (probably from higher self) single point open eye focus. By accident I actually did this a year ago by staring at insense smoke in a full moon circle I opened for myself. It was powerful.
Saying that I do agree with doing the “harder” mediation as to the point of letting go/controlling the ego.

You are probably going to have a vision adding candle gazing to your meditation. Candle gazing...closing the eyes and watching the after glow with your third eye shows us how relaxing the physical eyes allows us to maintain the after glow image of third eye but grasping/focusing the physical eyes on it makes it fade away....just like a vision of the Astral light frequency...abode of angels.

Ben, thank you for sharing this priceless detailed knowledge. I have experienced also, It is the consistency and not the length of time during meditation. I have also experienced that any thing or action put forth with 100% heart, a god job is always achieved. So, what about combining these two? The heart (while feeling grateful) and the spirit for increasing growth. I don't know whats up with this ego that i have going on, but it feels like a Murphy's Law kind of a thing somtime. Being dedicated like you have been so long, you are such an inspiration to everyone. I'm learning so much in such little time, so thanks again Ben

This helps me be able to teach others. When I say "stop my thoughts" or "stopping thoughts" I should just say "single-pointed meditation." Maybe that is easier to understand. People might struggle to know how to "stop thoughts" but have an easy time grasping "single pointed focus."

    In a short formula
Ego dwells your cognitive mental matrix
    Your understanding
You are unable to separate the Ego from the cognition
Because you define and experience the world via this matrix
The only way out is to get to meditate
In meditation you'll have awareness to see beyond the cognitive matrix
    Observing the Ego
    Being free from it
    Opposite to expectations
    You won't be vulnerable
You''ll juggle around the Ego with an ease
Being in this awareness is not an effort,
    rather an alternative existence
Yes, exactly an Existence, and not a shrink of survival
In such orbit, as far as it's in balance
You do start communicate with others with love
Now the moving engine is not the Ego
It is the Love trying to express
Being in Love is not unstable altitude
As far as it is in balance
    But beware!
This is the backdoor of the Ego
Trying to keep your orbit in balance, you Ego will emerge with advises
    Maintaining the balance in Love
You should maintain the balance not by asking your Ego how to keep the balance subtle
Instead you should go meditate to maintain the balance
In the first occasion, asking yourself how to maintain the balance Ego will emerge
In the second occasion, when start meditate your balance will got revolve
    So in conclusion
    Never ask your self whatever
Instead find all the answers in awareness
And that happens not when ask your Ego, but when start to meditate

    Another great video
    Short and simplified
    Motivating
    Even gladlier exposing the Ego
To all feeling a bit concerned with their Ego
The people mistakenly understand the Ego, as their right to exist, to fight, to have the right to exist.
Constantly moving back and forth within blame and gain
The matter with Ego is not opposing your needs
On the first place exactly the Ego gave you idea of needs, and how to achieve these
Once having your spiritual experience you will see exactly your place in the world.
Having that you'll be perfectly centered
Then will see the Ego as the old primitive instrument of the blind person searching its way.
    Once having the spiritual experience
You'll find even furtherer that the Ego is the constant accompaniment chattering in your head moving you back and forth in your daily life
You'll see how much energy you are wasting in the constant unnecessary play
In this way you just remove the Ego as an obsolete instrument
    Regarding the psychosis
Triggering the psychosis shows you how much of Your Ego is being hidden and latent
In a sense such a bad experience is a good, helping you purging you from the Ego
As is with the vomiting cleansing your body
Vomiting you are cleansing the food path
Psychosis is cleansing your mind from the Ego
In both cases you have just letting it go
Imagine trying to vomit by stopping you do so - probably you"l suffocate and pass away
Now imagine having psychosis trying to get a grip on Reality by listening the Ego
You just have to let go
But also, let me explain what the Psychosis is
This is the difference between listening the Ego and hearing the Ego
On your normal daily life you are listening separating the Ego from the ideas it suggests
On your ecstatic Psychosis when you are overcharged, when you opened fully aware, you are no any longer able to distinguish back and forth, between ideas, All becomes one, The psychosis kicks in when you start hearing the Ego. You hear it, but you are unable to listen. Because channeling to listen means your attention put on a certain spot, while hearing is the Ego is not being focused, neither you are able to focus, The hearing penetrates you entirely, all cognitive constructs demolishing, not able how to prioritize your thoughts.
Let go is the most valuable advise one could ever give to the one in trouble

It's quite difficult with a flame, I found, Ben? An incense stick or a dot on a wall is better as the flame can move with drafts, and is distracting. A very powerful technique, undeniable, the way your eyes react is similar to an aperture on a photographic lense, your outer sight or field of view diminishes .I had my first 'experience' using this. Brilliant.

What I appreciate about your vids, Ben, is the simplicity and straightforwardness of your explanations. I am definitely one of those people who got so far and then get coming up against barriers. Thank you so much.
Just out of interest, if the single-pointed focus is the nostril, are you breathing in and out through it? If so, is the focus on both the inhale and exhale sensations, which will be slightly different?

I think maybe the ego is simply the body’s preservation system and it’s not necessarily scheming to deter you from spiritual growth but rather exists as a less conscious biological process which is a necessary part of incarnating into a biological body. Perhaps it’s just a matter of taking your consciousness out of the thoughts which our brains naturally produce. I feel strongly that the ego is not its own entity with an agenda or a fear of losing its own existence.

    • @J.A.706
      @J.A.706 Месяц назад

I see it this way, also. I've never benefited from seeing and treating the ego like an almost personified enemy with a sinister agenda. Seems more like it originally had a valuable "job" within a support network, but that support network seemingly diminished to where the ego operating system enlarged, but not because it originally wanted that to happen to it.

If I place an object or an effigy to focus my concentration upon, does it mean that I don't have to close my eyes and will keeping my eyes open be an effective means to meditate.

Spirituality speaking, how does this single focus meditation benefit me. Will i connect with my guides and angels better. Will i receive higher vibrational thoughts or move towards ascension. Or is it just to calm and clear my mind so i can focus on simpler thoughts.

This is interesting, I have started to notice when I am doing anapana meditation I can now focus on the breath fairly consistently but I am aware there is chatter in the background. It's almost like the voices are still there but the volume is dialled right down to a point where I can't make out what they are saying. I am aware there is still noise going on but I am not involved in it if that makes sense?

    Ego is a terrible thing
    A survival mechanism
mirroring all day long people's expectations in our interactions
Having limited and primitive people around
you have to have a language with them
    an attitude shown
    Instead of trying to explain
    using the primitive language
Better jump directly being up there
Dropping off the Ego is even easier than expected
As far as you don't try to explain it
Trying to explain you enter in the blood bath with Ego interaction
In order to untangle it in others
You all yourself enter the mental hell of Ego owner, trying to make love and explain it simply. Efforts to help
Being all dedicated you give yourself all
Just to show what you see
To share the light with others
There's no bigger joy than that
That is the motivation that always put you on track even after biggest exhaustion
    On the other hand
    We build Ego castle
    to be protected
To have a place to charge our energy, discharging in the comfort zone
    We call that life
And as far as we are stable, we don't search an option
While the one not being able to build own castle tries searching for alternatives
    There are myriads of alternatives
    Hidden and Latent
The issue comes when we try to "define" these as path with all its rounds
The more we define, the less possible to implement
Because all the time what does define is the Ego, and you nourishing it letting it to lead you
    Every time you trust it
Yet you are still half sank in the mud
Believing the life is hard to follow
    "But that means you're alive"
To make a quantum shift in awareness without an Ego you have to change the orbit in a blink
Without waking your Ego for advise

People do it on daily basis without realizing it is meditation. For example during driving. Did you experience while driving that you passed away into paralysis being with your thoughts somewhere else and still driving safely? It is due to focusing on one point during driving. I am getting pissed of on our ancestors. We don't know ourselves at all. Human beings are like talking monkeys while we already can reach stars.
