Truly the end of The Queensryche era in my opinion.. once Chris left Queensryche was never the same, Tribe was their last great record
No Tribe sucked. Hinf last good one
The Verdict is a badass album by Queensryche!
TRIBE ? ARE YOU SERIOUS ?
@@axxionman69 I posted this 3 years ago. I was just a boy then…. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Queensryche didn’t release Blood of The Levant and I didn’t give Bulletproof a listen!! That’s one of their best songs of all time!! Tribe is a garbage aside from 3 maybe 4 tracks
Very true 😢.....love that band ❤
interesting how Chris was on stage right on this tour, his last with QR, all the previous tours he was always on stage left
i noticed that right away too. I didn't get to see this tour but if I planted myself stage left I would have been pissed lol

The only metal band that ever truly evolved.
False- VOIVOD
Queensryche was never meant to be traditional heavy metal band, and Geoff Tate knew it well already in 1988. From Operation Mindcrime on the band has evolved continuosly always searching for new sonic territories, guided by De Garmo / Tate and then just Tate after 1998....
@@signer530 Voivod blows. Try Maiden
Maiden is so middle school. At least Voivod and Queenryche are at a high school level.

I wish they had filmed a pro-shot version of this and of a concert from the 94-95 tour.
My wife & I were FRONT ROW at this show - Wearing a SCREAMING IN DIGITAL!!! Shirt - Thank you for this with all my heart
Man I would have given almost anything to see this Tour, Chris's last Tour with Queensryche & The end of an era, I like Tod la Torre but Queensryche isnt the same without Degarmo, It would be like If Roger Waters stayed in Pink Floyd & Gilmour left...it just wouldn't sound the same & Queensryche isnt the same without him.. Even when they do Songs with Acoustic fills in them they dont even use acoustic guitars, maybe I seem a little picky but the music deserves the Time & Respect.. Even when they play empire now they don't have the Speaking before the ending chorus.. Regardless of the negative reviews for Hear In The Now, It may not be a metal record like Warning but it's a great rock record.. it's probably 1 of my favorite Queensryche records
jeff cordova, I agree about HITNF. I personally loved that album. I think it showed the continued growth of the band. Unfortunately there was too much internal dysfunction for it to continue with this lineup. I feel like they really lost focus after Degarmo left the band.
I was there -- and it was mind blowing. I'm happy that I got to see them before it all went to crap.
Adam Yarter All I want is one of my favorite Ryche tunes.. the couple tracks Chris does with his Daughter Riley are great.
This is an awesome show!
Mr. Tate's voice is absolutely fantastic and is better than when I saw them on the Promised Land tour.. Take Hold Of The Flame - BRILLIANCE!!!
I am I & Damaged are such great songs. Eerie and dark.
what a great crowd - very enthusiastic - happy to hear a good ol' school metal band in the midst of the grunge era
Killer version of Walk In The Shadows.
+The Cisco Kid And Take Hold Of The Flame as well.
I saw this show at Hospitality Point in San Diego. This was a great show. I'm one that actually enjoys this album even though it's very much random through the grunge machine, it's grunge Queensryche style. "Hit the Black" is bad ass. The overall album is solid with a filler or two the rest is solid.
This unfortunately would be Chris DeGarmo's last ride with them as he knew it was drying up over at the well for them.
I was at this show with my best friend at the time... We had lawn tickets, but standing in line to get in, we met a couple who had tickets, 10th row just left of center stage, who wanted lawn seats for some reason, so we swapped them, and we partied on the lawn with them while Metal Church was opening the show, Of course I bought many of the beers they drank for the upgrade in tickets... I was a little disappointed that they didn't play "Promise land", and "One more time around" from PL, and was shocked they didn't play "Anybody Listening" from Empire, which is a great live venue song, but otherwise... What a fucking show... Peace... Jacob....
The Voice as it's best I've ever heard live from Geoff :-)
Seen every Tour Ryche has done, seen the last Seattle show before the original line up imploded, have tickets for there first show of 2019 at Hard rock Orlando March 3rd, but I miss the old line up, my god they were bulletproof,
Those were the days...
the end of days lol
It must have one of Chris‘ last shows with QR. The way this band went after he left is a real pity...
was definitely the last tour. i think he made it through the year though. saw pics from later shows in the year. was so mad and sad that he left but I totally get it. he's living his best life in and out of the spotlight.
Saw this tour in Dallas, Texas at the Starplex Amphitheater. Awesome show.
Original line-up Queensrÿche never disappointed. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
what a great show. this was amazing!!
Geoff was very strong on Walk In The Shadows.
Excellent ❣️❤️🔥🛫
Damn Geoff was having a really good night, the band always brought it.
I saw them on this tour at montage mountain in scranton/moosic pa. That would be the first and last time I ever saw them with tate as lead vocalist. They were dynamic live. And honestly I wouldn't be interested if tate wasn't lead.
THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD MINDCRIMER. AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!!
I saw this tour! So awesome!
Maybe the tour was better than Promised land but not the album???
Hear now the new frontier had a few good songs in it in comparison with the Promised land album that in my opinion was far superior. There's no bad song on Promised land album, they're very good songs, may be not the best but good and still with essence and sound of Queensryche . HNTF sounded like grunge but not Queensryche IMHO.
I saw both tours and like both albums....although, I'm with you about Promised Land. DeGarmo was changing his playing style back on the Empire album. He was playing more blues style scales and tone compared to anything previous and wrote pretty much all of HNTF. QR has always evolved and is from Seattle, so it makes sense that would be right in there with the changing music environment, but always with the QR style that no one else has. Very versatile band. I've seen them live starting on the Warning tour and loved everything that they've produced.
Degarmo was Quuensryche
Weird how everything worked out with this album as it was the last one they were contracted with for EMI, the label went under halfway into this tour leaving them high and dry and the death blow was Chris jumping ship. I was so upset when he left but I totally get it. He was tired of it all and who could blame him? He was the songwriting workhorse for this band and it's completely obvious once he left. He flew off into the sunset like a buddha--zero fucks given and living his best life. Cheers old school Ryche fans...grateful for this time capsule.
I met Chris and the other guys backstage at the show in Virginia when Geoff was very sick in July 97'. Chris looked totally out of it, like his mind was on other things. That show felt completely off and it was very short due to Geoff's illness. I came out pretty bewildered too, after seeing them a few years before. How was this the same band?
I saw this show in Mansfield, MA. While it was a great show... only 2/3 of the seats in the amphitheater were occupied. (But the lawn was pretty full). I think they still felt they had their "Empire tour" crowds.... but definitely not. 3 years later they were barely selling out theaters.
you can thank the record label for that. they went under halfway into this tour, and didn't promote it as a label should. sad.
Essa piscadinha é incrível ❤💕👩🎤 53:40
Unreal!
Funny, the version I have also has that small jump at 1:36:52
1:42:52 Awesome version of "Walk In The Shadows". (1:43:51) (1:45:11)
best songS is at 39:29 & 1:46:36. Some people fly
only 1 from the warning :(
Eyes of a stranger1:29:03
What the fuck is this guy doing during Get a Life ?
as a fan from the early days I never got warm with the mediocre post-empire material....this is a decent show - still powerful- but the best days were long over... I can refeel why DeGarmo left
Promised land was a great work, a wonderful evolution. According to me a better work that empire . From here in the Now frontier they got lost
@@biez71 Promised land is a phenomenal record. I wish Chris chose to leave on that high note. chris was tired of it all and tapped and this record showed it. dude was the songwriting workhorse of that group and you can really tell after he left. he was just tired of carrying the weight anymore. good for him flying off into the sunset. the band should have hung it up after that but nope..and look what happened. such a bummer but glad these time capsules exist.
I saw the Empire arena tour to a packed house, Promised land arena tour to half packed house and this tour, hear in the now frontier with 3/4 of the arena empty. horrible album.
You’re fucking crazy. Hear is a brilliant record.
