My family wishes to thank you for your support during this challenging time. Take care and make sure to reach out to those you care about. I can't express how much it means even to just get a text saying "hi". Enjoy the rest of your day. EDIT: For those not understanding, my father passed away last week and the services will be held this week. Big thanks again to everyone
My first time here. Sorry to hear about your dad, I lost mine back in 1992. Lost my mom in 2009 and my brother last year. I have no family left. Please enjoy any time you spend with family because you never know when will be the last time you see someone. As they say life goes on and found memories can help ease the pain but the emptiness of losing someone close really never goes away. Peace and my prayers go out to you and your family.
Thanks, I am getting there. Weird situation as I am in another country right now and communicating often. I will be home for the services which will of course bring up some emotions...
It's a shame buffet's have died down in Australia but I'm glad to see they are still going elsewhere sucked in to everyone who said they will disappear because of covid!
I definitely can tell the difference between brands of Scrapple. Grew up on Habbersett and still my favorite being the original plant was a few minutes from my home in Middletown Township Pa.
Bwahahaha. Even if done so politely, reprimanding BOB by mentioning that he’d better eat all the food he takes, clearly shows they don’t know who they’re dealing with. 🤣 And I’m not just saying that BC he can eat mass quantities, it’s just not something he does. BOB is one of the most respectful / considerate eaters I’ve ever followed. ✌🏻
It was all good. I took it like it was meant. She was basically saying we aren't going to let you carryout half of the buffet LOL. We had no issues with each other, she was a good waitress. Her manager recognized me from Wing Bowl and came up to say hi. Everyone was very polite.
I have them do thay to me because they see it all the time of people wastin'. Then they seem to be really happy when you eat it all. Nice job man #SaladsAreForEarthlings
I just saw a video of you with @corbucci eats eating our version of Brazilian sushi, I would like to congratulate you because you are one of the few who accompany our corbucci at meals... in fact, you are still able to surpass it a lot of the time. I'm following you too.
Scalloped potatoes. Essentially potatoes au gratin without the cheese. Just lovely butter and cream and some nice spices. I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve ever seen your channel! New subscriber here. I’m sorry to hear about the recent loss of your father. Sending love and strength to you and your family.
Probably. I hope those guys who do an “AYCE” buffet would give the owners a “heads up”. I don’t want M&P shops to lose $. The challenges help drive business and can be budgeted in for the promotion.
Hi Bob - I just googled scrapple, because I had never hear of it before. If I am ever at a buffet where they have it, I'll certainly give it a try. My thoughts are with you. Thanks for the video.
That's where they went, Pheonixville! I miss their breakfast buffet! For 15 years my family went there after church every Sunday in Souderton. I would always pour creamed chipped beef over hash browns 🤤
Looks good! I live up in Maine I spent about 20 years in the Bay area California and I miss good restaurants. The food up here besides the seafood sucks!! Its a nice area though. Quiet and little crime. Thanks for sharing! I enjoy your videos.
really? i guess i never thought about other food in maine very nice state and yeah the best lobster there do most mainers just prefer to cook at home vs finding good restaurants? how bout in the big cities like portland good food places there?
@@strongmanconqueror1894 There is a pub here or there that is good there is one in portland but nothing spectacular and if you want good food you are definitely going to pay for it! I went to Kennebunk port got a prime rib dinner was 35 dollars the slice was greasy though and well done and its a hyped up restaurant the locals rave about. We have a pub here everyone loves ive been 3 times and it was shit. People around here have such bad taste in food they probably consider McDonald's to be a Michelin star restaurant 😂😂😂
Maine had a batch of semi-finalist restaurants in the James Beard awards this year. It really depends on personal taste, but Portland, ME definitely has some decent places. Although, I agree that your average Mainer will rave about very mediocre, chain restaurant food.
@@KatieBellino probably lobster/sea food. I'm 50 yrs old ive lived all over the state. Probably only a hand full of places... Bar Harbor, Portland ext. Its a fairly small state

The buffets in the States look amazing! I would love to try one. Just a quick question for you. Do you like condiments on your food? If so, what kind? Great video, Bob. Take care
So sorry to hear about that Bob. . I lost my father 3 yrs ago and it’s still though. I feel for ya 😢. I always look for ya anytime I walk into a buffet! 😂 one of these days ima get a pic with ya haha. If you haven't already you gotta try Tajin seasoning on your watermelon it's also good on pineapple and other fruits, street corn, shrimp, bloody and virgin Marys well lots of stuff! 🍉🦐🍍🍎🌽🥚🌮🍹🍟🌯 Let's goooooo! 🤤
Skrapple... Lol, at first I was like biscuits and brownies, interesting combination. Where's the chocolate gravy 😂. Which may be good on skrap ya never know 🤔
Hello Bob have a blessed week ahead, whats scrapple? ive never heard of it is it like lunchun meat? your biscuits look like what id call a scone consistency here, Got to love watermellon aye , much love to you and your family I lost a mum in 2020 and it definitely gets easier but still the most surreal experience of my life.
Hi Bob. It's my 1st time coming across your channel, & i really enjoyed your video. I heard you mention that you travel around doing this. Are you a PA native though? O man they still have o gradys out there I grew up going to the one in Souderton they always had awesome breakfast buffet they changed owners and name awhile back
Need to bring one chefs torches (like they use for creme Brule) and you could melt the cheese. Don't think I've ever had scrapple. Gonna have to check it out some day.
That is a good idea for the cheese. Scrapple is an acquired taste. It is traditionally a mush of pork scraps and trimmings combined with cornmeal and wheat flour, often buckwheat flour, and spices. The mush is formed into a semi-solid set loaf, and slices of the scrapple are then pan-fried before serving
Those chicken wings/legs look 👀 delicious. If they make them in house I would love to get the recipe. If they use a vendor for them, please share the name as my brother in law does catering and he has large venues he runs every week.

They need to bring back a 7 or 10 people challenge. Although quantities of food the large would get boring very quick. Remember the giant burger?
There is a big collab recording next week. I will not be a part of it as I have more important family matters to attend to.
