My instagram highlight is stuck on march 2021 it’s been a year I’ve uploaded many more stories in that time period i mean its 2022 now but after march 2021 nothing appears after that date even thi i did upload many stories for 24hours but nothings shows there to make a highlight it ends on march 😞

Ive searched for my problem everywhere & it doesn't exist. When i upload Instagram stories,say i upload 5 seperate photos. When i add a GIF/Mention/Location etc to the first photo, then everything i add automatically gets entered into the following photos. Ive tried uninstalling several times, ive cleared all cache & data and nothing helps. Its so frustrating,can anyone help?

Same issue is happening with me. I added a story to ONE of my highlights and afterwards that ONE highlight now only as 3 when it had like 7. Some of my other highlights are deleting ONE or TWO. I deleted all of them and made them again but it keeps happening

Hi there! If your old Instagram highlight stories aren't showing, try checking your archive settings to make sure story archiving is turned on. You can find it in Settings > Privacy > Story > Save story to archive. If the highlights were archived, you should be able to add them back. I'll consider making a video on this. 😊

For me, it was already enabled. Also, i turned off wifi, i turned airplane mode on and off, deleted and reinstalled the app and logged out and back in. Nothing worked.
Basically my most recent stories don’t show up in the highlight section, so i can’t add them to the highlight, which sucks because i want this to happen in order and i will add a new story tomorrow. Does anyone have a fix for this? Because all the videos and websites tell the same things i’ve already tried.

Fathima, to add old stories to your highlights, you need to make sure they’re still saved in your archive. Go to your profile, tap the three lines, then 'Archive.' From there, you can select old stories to add to your highlights.
