In these larger pools of colors, my 3 teams are Teal, Maroon, and Lavender. I'm happy to see all of them got far. but man is it a nail biter. (Teal always does poorly by the way)

Damit soo close I picked blue which came 2nd due to unlucky as hell of bounces. I feel bad for those who picked maroon they went first-second 4 times in a row to fifth fifth and last

Just a thought, maybe don't have any pendulums in the final leg of a race? Without other marbles things tend to get stuck and it's super dissatisfying to see anything in equilibrium here, especially since (I think) collisions are inelastic so they can theoretically go on forever
Or adding tiny chamfers to the exit holes at the bottom of those final level pendulum bowls might have sped up the process too.

Same thing happened to Tan. Although the worst one was lime's elimination, I was waiting for something like that to happen to one color

the tension was on point especially when my color got 4 of the 5 balls in it gave me hope then white got the last 2 in
The way lime got eliminated was downright disrespectful, he got in first and had a fairly large lead but the gears in the sorting slowed him down far enough that the other finished first
So it's just a game sometimes the thing you like looses

I liked the longer format, but if you want to spice things up, maybe you could make a 5 color race like this, but instead of dropping a whole color, you just drop the 5 slowest marbles, so even if 4 pink balls die in the first round, that last pink one might make it to the end anyway.

Lime was robbed in that one round. Navy came last but advanced because of how the tubes were placed. JUSTICE FOR LIME!
Better to use teleporter
Tube placement was based on who got in first, so Lime lost because of a bad start and navy was rewarded
