I love Lordi, have for a long time. For all the reasons you mentioned. The music is fun and catchy as hell, and their whole gimmick is just great. The costumes and the horror movie monster themes, and they just flat out entertain. I've seen them live a couple times, and it's such a fun show with them up there - the singer's got these giant bat wings that open up on his back, and they've got pyro going on... it's just so much FUN. I really dug this track, looking forward to their new album.
Lordi is in my top ten and never have they been described so perfectly! "If kiss was good and scary" i fucking love it!

Got to see them live this summer for the first time and it was awesome (and long overdue since im from Finland). When i was 6 i started to like this band because their eurovision win and everyone listened to this band back then. Now it feels like they are not that popular in Finland anymore but they still make amazing music. Im hoping to see them live again.

I agree with you totally about the pageantry... I've been to about 6 GWAR shows and always had a fricking blast.
I am actually convinced that the old man is Mr. Lordi as you never see them in the same shot together, and when Mr. Lordi pushes him away from the woman, you don't see the old mans face.
However, to keep the illusion alive, I refute this reality and substitute my own.

Lordi puts on a great live show! Entertainment no doubt! This is a new keyboard player and drummer and I heard possibly a new bassist but that's not confirmed on my end. Kita, the ex drummer for a decade was a female and another was the old keyboardist Awa along with her replacement Hella. Fkin love this band's music and gimmick. Spot on
drummer was never female, ex or not, the current keyboard lady, hella has a replacer for occasions and he's a dude tho

They are very secretive about their identities, their former drummer was fired for revealing himself. The rest of the band has never revealed themselves afaik but some tabloid magazines did some digging and supposedly published pictures of all the members, which caused such a big backlash in Finland that they had to issue a public apology and never did it again. :)
Well it wasn't the reveal of his face as much as being in a other band in the background of Lordi that led to him being "fired", he quit, that's the truth
