Wanted to first off leave a massive thank you for your guides. I'm by no means a top tier gamer, but with your guides I managed to get the blorva. Secondly, anyone who is struggling with not getting stacked out, in the end I used soul reaper axe, echo boots and claws. I dumped claws right at the start of the fight and then didn't pay attention to them after that. I think paying too much attention to the health bar and when you can dump specs will get you killed so quickly. I highly recommend game sounds as well so you can hear what orbs are flying at you in what order. I massively struggled with Vard, but if anyone actually reads this, I really hope it saves you a lot of pain.

Just got awakened Levi done on my iron after 250 attempts on main. Hearing you say this one is the hardest makes me hope it’s not the same case for me 😂
after more kc of each boss i think this one and levi are even in difficulty although many people say this one is easy. really depends on the person. gl gl!

lmao! sorry for the very late response but i giggled reading this also, FUN FACT: vard is the only boss in game that physically requires 2 clicks be done within the same game tick to avoid damage and play correct. No other boss or NPC in the entire game requires that.
@@TzHaar-Doug its the one I felt most comfortable in at the time, after a lot more kc it honestly doesn't matter which corner I stand in anymore, some people prefer the one with the lowest pillar height

i use them more often in regular vardorvis to skip the south-western axe a tick earlier than normal or the north-eastern axe a tick later to save losing ticks on the fang. its not ideal to think about saving fang ticks in the awakened so I didnt bring it up
What do you think about switching to Scythe for the final 30% when defences are reduced? Do you think it's worth the DPS increase and potential increased heals with Blood Fury? I imagine it's unlikely we'd die due to running out of food and more likely to get combo'd out by a mistake the longer enrage phase lasts so maybe Scythe?

@@redeyejedi8615 I was using Aggressive initially but just re-bought and using Accurate now and still just hitting 10 - 15 0s before 50% on Vard. The axe is nice when it hits but it feels extremely inconsistent.

if 2 axes spawn diagonally (NE & SE) then i sometimes will go down into the middle area i have marked if no axes are there instead. but normally only do this near the start when the axe spawns are slower (i guess these tiles and the way I use them is like a hybrid method of the old guide tiles and this current guides tiles lol)
@@redeyejedi8615 i just imported them and attempted a kill but didnt really understand what all the marked tiles represented to be honest and got hit quite alot, i'll probably stick with your other method for now D:
@@redeyejedi8615 hey sorry to reply again to this comment, but i've been practicing the awakened tiles axe skipping in regular vard to get used to it, but im having situations where he also spikes the "safe tile" or the orange tile in reference to the video. i managed to get a single clip of it, do you have a discord i can send it to you on, and in that situation what should i do if its also spiked
Personally i likes the SE corner (left of where u are) because the pillar is shorter so it’s a bit more visible but the mouse has to go a little further from the invent but worked well for me
i played around with all the corners, i didnt like any of them more than the others to be honest but im sure most will already have a preference of which area to skip in
@@KenGaming3000 how are you hiding the pillars if not using blindfold plugin (that plugin disables being able to see the spikes and feels very cheesey)
What setting is it in Entity Hider to hide the axes? Does it hide the heads too and just keeps the attack projectiles or how does that interaction work?

Im surprised you think this is harder than awakened leviathan, seeing as it's the popular opinion that awakened leviathan is the hardest piece of content in the game
After finally deciding on getting blood torva a month later I can safely say vardorvis is much harder than leviathan and that I hated every second of it

(if you ever noticed yourself 6 ticking your fang during the enraged regular vardorvis due to skipping axes it can be avoided by using those tiles)

Yes taking the scythe for last 30 isnt a bad idea. It is better dps than fang then i wasnt aware when recording the guide (:

I just hide the pillars but keep an outline of them for maximum visibility

Fang better than scythe for awakened?
100% - 30% health soul reaper axe is best in slot and fang is 2nd best in slot.
30% - 0% scythe is best in slot.
I only found out this information after uploading the guide

i think theyre pretty close in difficulty, vard took me (slightly) more orbs
