According to A-Z-ANIMALS.COM "A jungle is a type of dense rainforest and the term can refer to any type of tropical forest with thick vegetation, including rainforests. Today, a jungle means either an undeveloped tropical forest with impenetrable vegetation, the bottom half of a rainforest, or the outer edges of one." ✌️Pura vida

I went with a local group, los Coyotes, that I found on a local facebook hiking group. This tour organizer offer guided hikes mainly for locals. There are other tour operators in Costa Rica that offer guided tours for tourists. it's a 3 day hiking trip. I went with a local group, since I live in CR. They are called Los Coyotes. I mention them, I believe, in part 2. :)
