    Thanks for the video. I installed a different camera but how you got the back panel wiring done was the same for the camera I got, and you were really helpful. Appreciate you!

    This was amazing! Thank you!!! I couldn’t figure out how to hide the rear cables. Brilliant!

    Great instructions, thank you!
    Doesn't it seem crazy that we are installing aftermarket cameras right next to factory cameras? Hyundai should do what Tesla does and give people the ability to connect a USB drive or flash memory card to the car and a record what the factory cameras see.

    Thanks a lot for the video! I found this video is general useful to install the dash cam into Kia Carinval as well.

    Thank you for this great video. I installed my camera instructed for some reason the car cuts of power after about an hour of being parked is there a setting the vehicle to avoid that?

    I'm sorry but, as much as I do like this video, I have to give you a thumbs down for skipping the fuse steps because to me that is the most critical part of the install and the part that I think most of us are unsure about.

    When are you going to install new wheels and you have to upgrade the stereo. That would be a great video.

      I don't think I will get that invested for this car.

    I got 2 screen protector type sheets, I noticed that you did not use these. What is the purpose of using them? Instructions say to stick them onto the windscreen, and then attach the camera to it.

      It makes removal easier in the future if you decide to remove the cameras.

    That clip you recorded at the end with the dash cam seems really dark?

    • @CalebTrips
      @CalebTrips  10 месяцев назад

      The tutorial video was recorded with my iphone on HDR which makes it brighter.
      The dashcam doesn't record in HDR and that's why it looks dark + sunset.

    When you’re placing the rear camera make sure that it is in the wiping range or rear footage will get blurry

    Did the location of the front camera intervene at all with the dimming sensor behind the rear view camera?

    What year and trim model is your Palisade? Will this method work on a 2024 Palisade XRT? Thanks.

    The problem with any cabling connected to the car, other than via usb/lighter you loose the warranty of your car (given by the manufacturer) in my country:/

    • @llamacebu216
      @llamacebu216 Год назад

      Absolutely false.
      If you you change out a stereo you'll lose your stereo warranty. Not your engine warranty. Completely two different things that wouldn't hurt each other.
      Even then, no dealer is going to void your warranty. They might give you a hard time but they will not void it. Unless it's like a battery
      If you're that scared then forget the hardwire and just go plug in play

      @@llamacebu216 hi, this might be true in your country, not in mine, DR.
      You actually get a set of documents stating all you need to know as to What might cause you to void your warranty.
      Thank you you tho for the information.
      We are clearly getting screwed in DR

    Beware camera sucks, guaranteed not to record an incident you may have.
    Every close call I've had with mine, I did not record it. I have zero faith this record an accident if it happens.

    Did you check with the multimeter which side of the fuse is the power coming in? You do not want to bypass the fuse.
