@@stepbro4978 i ended up just doimg the swap you need a passenger belt on the driver side and the c5 receiver/buckle is not compatible with the c6 male end
I’m trying the same conversion, but the reels need to be installed level in order to release. I wish I would have done more research before buying the later model C6 belts.
How did this turn out? I put my Evo 8 recaro in my z06 and I’m in the same boat. I’m 5’11” so its not the best ride, but I had to get the stock crap out of the car asap!

do you have to run the passenger c6 belt on the driver side of the c5? also does the c5 seat belt receiver work with the c6 male end?

When replacing tie rod ends is counting inserted threads for the new ones a good method for a rough adjustment ?
Use a tape measure or ruler. It's a better option but if you don't have either then yes just count the treads.

I'm having the same problem with the seat belt reel
It makes the problem better but I managed to get the seats to work and stuck with the c5 belts.
Can you provide the info for where you got the seats? Looking to do the same thing for my C5. Thanks
I bought them on eBay. You can look up Braun seat or cypher seats same manufacturer I believe.

@@stepbro4978 yeah my old seats were shit and I did get the one I have to work but when I go to full race seats I want to expand my options.
