I tell you what kiddo, you and others like you are doing such important work, even though you may not realize it. You're breaking down racial barriers, generational barriers, and fearlessly exploring music that you may not have otherwise considered. Keep it up buddy!
This is exactly why I enjoy watching his videos so much! Don’t ever stop exploring music, there’s always something really special you haven’t experienced yet!
They played Dust in the Wind every half a hour for my whole tour in Desert Shield/ Storm. I still get anxiety when I hear it. It pisses me off that the US government ruined a classic.
Hey Dave! This is Susie from the Opera House.....watching this guy hear you for the first time brought back memories ! Hope you and the guys are well! Miss those days and cooking breakfast for you after an Opera House gig.
I can’t believe this 60-something female loves you like I do! Just found your channel yesterday and I can’t stop watching! I love your reactions to the music and love that you can appreciate all different genres. ❤️
I love that you like music from the 70's!! I am showing my age in telling you I was a teenager and the music was lit!! No auto tune, everyone did their own thing. No one copied each other like they do today!! There is so much more for you to listen to , you have only scratched the surface!!
Agree. I grew up in the 70s when bands actually formed a group traveled in beat up van no money and write their own songs and played own instruments and could really sing. I won’t go to concerts cuz they never compare to the ones years ago.
My absolute favorite song from that era. I'm 46 and a mostly a metal head. But I grew up on this music. And I find myself listening to more and more lately. I don't even bother trying to find metal stations. I just focus on 60s and 70s rock stations.
I've watched a lot of your reactions, and I'm wondering if you are a fan of Earth, Wind, and Fire? Maybe you already know them, but if you don't, prepare to have your mind blown!!!
I think what I love most about your videos is it makes me feel like I’m listening to these amazing songs for the first time 😊 I’ve seriously gone down a rabbit hole. I’ve been watching them for like 2 hours lol
Happens all the time... I think we all need something to think about other than what's going on in the world and while we're watching this dude get into what we've always thought of as our music were doing the important work of breaking down barriers
Lol! Me too, a few of them he just like loses himself in the music. Forgetting to be nervous forgetting to perform in any way, just purely enjoying it.
You're more of a musical empath than your brother, hmm? Your reactions make listening to these classics soooo much more enjoyable. Love your curiosity and openness, bro.
Same. Am I wasting my life spending so many hours watching this young man discover the genius of these songs for the first time while remembering the first time I discovered them (while reliving my misspent youth)? I think not.
My dad always listened to classic rock when I was growing up. If this song sounds familiar to you at your age... It's the opening theme song for "Supernatural". (Making me feel o.l.d.)
I’m 61 and this was my favorite of all times. Saw Kansas 7 times in their heyday. Still love them as much today. All of their songs were amazing. Also listen to Jethro Tull....
I wish I had seen them even once. I discovered them when I was 13 walking past a stereo section in a department store. Stopped me dead in my tracks. Just stood still listening then went to find out what I was hearing and bought it.
I always love watching your reactions. Have you thought of doing a "top five" songs...that surprised you, that moved you, most significant to music history, songs that you loved prior to reaching out and learning songs you didn't know...songs that were significant to you before you reached out and found different genres, songs that are your favorite, or least favorite? I don't know. I'd be interested to see how you place the songs you have reacted to. Just a thought.
My daughter is a life guard at a resort in wisconsin dells...we love supetnatural!!! Now my kid(15 yrs old) has a motto of her because of the winchesters...saving lives and taking names

"change you" - oh so much. But get the best version. The original album version is stone cold goosebumps all over and heartwrenching feelings through out.
I agree!of you are going t react to Hallelujah you must listen to the version done by the songwriter himself and not someone who covered it. Leonard Cohen’s version Is so soulful because he lived every syllable.
This song ran during the end of the 1977 movie "Heroes," staring Henry Winkler and Sally Field, which is about four Vietnam vets who reunite after coming home from the war. Highly recommended if you haven't seen it. m.imdb.com/title/tt0076138/reviews
I just discovered this guy’s channel. He clearly understands music. I’ve watched about five of them. He makes me smile laugh and I feel good inside I must say I think he’s doing something larger than he even knows. This kind of thing brings us all together. He’s relating to music I used to listen to when I was 16 years old in the early 80s. It’s a beautiful thing.
