Not sure if you're into Mythology, but I've read the explanation of Sagittarius in Venus from a Mythologyical perspective and found it fascinating. Zeus = Sagittarius/Jupiter, Aphrodite = Libra/Venus, Ares = Aries/Mars.
Zeus (Aphrodite's father) refused Aprhodite and Ares marriage/love, in rage, she "cursed" the Sagittarius placement to never settle and continuously search for more expansion in love and to never find satisfaction in one lover. That is why we continuously see how Zeus move on from one woman to another from Hera.
I'm not belittling the placement though, my brother has this and he's been very loyal (Heavy Sagi/Cappy), but I'm not going to deny I see his eyes somewhat wondering, but he doesn't entertain it. I am a Sun Aries so I love his Sagittarius energy.
It’s so Interesting to hear that most people that have this look at it as one of their more beneficial placements. I can see why because of the “light” “fun” energy this brings but I think it’s kind of a curse. I have Venus in leo but I always watch sag videos because it’s in the 9th house conjunct Jupiter. I feel like I ruin my own life because of “shiny object syndrome” and generally never putting down roots anywhere because of the gnawing thought echoing in my mind saying “what if..”. Not to mention the restlessness and deep insatiable desire for growth.. it leads me to jump from thing to thing.
Agreed. I have Venus In Sagittarius and I struggle to not be deeply unsatisfied with the present moment, whatever it may be. I am grateful for many things in my life but there is always a lurking feeling that I am actually wasting all of my time and I won’t realize everything that I could have experienced until its too late. It is very much connected to the fear of dying having lived an empty and meaningless life. Not very light or fun at all, lol. Even though this placement is not in detriment or fall, I don’t think that Venus enjoys the open-ended aspect of Sagittarius since it is the planet of satisfaction and pleasure in the sign of expansion and growth.
@@mk27 this is so wonderfully said. I feel 100% what you said as well. My biggest fear is actually not having lived fully! I’ve fallen into things like extreme sports and adventure related things to give myself the feeling that I’m squeezing every last drop of excitement and adventure out of life and I’m always looking for things that give me a natural high. It really helps but the insatiable quest for expansion never stops. It’s really quite dark when you experience it.

Lmao. I have this placement. It arguably trines Jupiter (the orb is around 8 degrees). If it does, then most of the aspects are divine rectangle (with Neptune (sextile) and the Moon (opposition)), with the only other aspect being on the nodal axis (opposing the North Node). It would be funny if the skit was travel plans or something along those lines.

My Venus in Sagittarius is in the 7th house and also inconjunct my (very strong) Moon in Cancer. This means my freedom loving part seeks stimulating, exciting, free relationships (and even idealised them), but I actually end up needing a lot of commitment, safety and security (the Moon in Cancer). And I keep being attracted to strongly Sagittarian men who don’t provide this. 😅
I'd stay away from them... waste of time..
I’m a cancer moon Venus ascendant and am terribly attracted to a sag sun Venus mercury rising man but he has moon and Saturn in Aquarius.

This Venus in sag guy I know is married for at least 25 plus years to a Leo woman and I’m not sure if he’s a player or anything so I’m surprised as I heard they cannot commit. Of course he is older and probably has his progressed Venus elsewhere by now?!
As someone with Venus in Cancer, this sounds AWFUL. haha. I don't know how people can live like that.

This video didn't resonate at all, it was confusing its labeled "venus in sagittarius: how and what YOU love", yet you said nothing but negative things from the perspective of someone who is not compatible in dating one. Look my husband's venus is in sag and you didn't describe him right at all , he's been very faithful and he's a home body he hates meeting new people his mercury is in libra and moon in sag so it's not true what your saying. If everyone listened to this video who is dating or married to a venus in sag , they would have so many doubts and possibly break up.
Thats true, I am a Sag Venus, and I have deep values in monogamy. I need freedom, yes, but I want only one partner and so I dont feel any need to have different superficial intimacy with other people. I think the only thing that resonated with me was the traveling part and thinking of the future, growing in my personality, having high expectations, and I need a partner who is funny, light and also into monogamy, and always working onhimself.
