I don't understand why anyone would want a kindle when you can just add the kindle app to your phone or to a tablet that has multiple uses. On the tablet you have larger screen. And the app works every bit as well as the kindle itself. Uh, uh. No kindle for me.
I love the Kindle due to no distractions from texts, notifications, etc. I also love the back lighting and the softer lighting on the Kindle vs. a phone or tablet.
honestly, the e-ink screen is a huge plus. especially if you have poor eyesight like me. having to charge it less than a phone or tablet is also one factor
The Kindle screen and iPhone screen are two different types of screens. Staring at your iPhone or tablet for so long will give you headaches, eye strain, etc. And also... if you read a lot, you're killing your phone battery a lot faster from having to charge it so much. Kindle screens are made for reading and the battery lasts much longer, weeks longer.
I've been a kindle user since 2012. I cant live without it
