THE COAT OF A CHILDHOOD FRIEND

One Sunday “Mallan” the poor farmer was coming out of his house. At the gate he met one of his childhood friend “Mathevan” after a laps of so many years, who was coming in to see him. Mallan welcomed him. Please take rest in the house. I have promised to see some farmer friends in the village. Hence I will be back in an hour or so. Then Mathevan said isn’t it better if I could come with you? My clothes are dirty…if only you could give me a fresh pair, I could change and come along…….
