Jurgen Klopp has won practically everything whilst Liverpool manager. It’s no surprise then that many Liverpool fans, myself included, were gutted to hear that he’ll be leaving the club at the end of 2023-24 season. But he’s making sure that he goes out in style! With Liverpool top of the league, favourites to take the Europa League title and into the last 16 of the FA cup, this was Liverpool’s first chance to make sure that Klopp’s last season would be a trophy laden one.
Yet, with key players such as Salah, Núñez and Alexander-Arnold - to name but a few - sidelined, would Liverpool really be able to win this trophy whilst fielding a weakened side?
Watch along as I capture my day out at Wembley, otherwise known as Wembley South, as Liverpool really go on and achieve the unthinkable - win the League Cup against a billion pound full strength Chelsea side whilst fielding a lot of kids - some of whom have only had minutes of experience prior to this match.
I capture the moment Virgil Van Dijk heads Liverpool in front and makes sure that Liverpool win the trophy for a record extending 10th time! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and electric - and I hope you can enjoy just a taste of what that atmosphere was like in this video 😁

🔥Most impressive part of this game when Liverpool supporters started to chant “We conquered all of Europe…” around min 9 of extra time. Even tv viewers at home was impressed with the loud chat & passion 🔥

I totally agree - unfortunately RUclips penalises when the crowd’s singing registers as songs, which was the case for this match. I tried the best of both worlds by keeping both the background music and the crowd’s chanting and I hope the electric atmosphere shows through 😁
