I recently received an advice to not say good job to my kid as it will make his do stuff only to get my approval... I'm a new parent how do I make my 2 year old feel confident without him always looking for my approval to be motivated to do things

Your book sucks. Promoting fathers not being in theirs kids life, and writing a book about it like it's ok. This is what's wrong with our culture. I'll be returning this book immediately!!
