      Wow, I see what you mean. I think I know what happened, it should be in 4k but I think going outside and then back inside a setting wasn't correct so the camera tried to compensate which makes the resolution poor - making it look out of focus:( Always something lately! So many things to consider just in the production and then in the editing. In editing it will show a lower res sometimes to speed editing...so I must not have noticed this.

    Uni-t make awesome stuff but even on aliexpress their gear costs way more than the normal stuff one would buy. Like their linear power supplies and bench dmms. Never goes on sale either. Im a fan of their gear, i wish they'd do the third party certification.
    Rigol dont send anyone review gear it seems. Dave gets everything though because his community is so large with massive purchasing power. I used to always want keysight gear but they need to screw their head o straight and charge competitive prices for the stuff hobbyists would buy feature wise. Im soured on keysight for various reasons i wont go into. One of their ambassadors made me look like a jackass and the person i told about it probably thinks i lied.

    • @KissAnalog
      @KissAnalog  7 месяцев назад

      You are so right about all these statements. Uni-T is really trying to do things right - and they have a big gear release soon. I can't wait to see what it is. They contacted me and I think I might get a discount code for my viewers. They like the traffic that they get from this channel.
      Rigol said that they would send me a loaner - and I was going to buy one if I liked it. The new scopes are doing well, so now they won't respond to my emails - so I am done trying with them - and I decided that the cost is a bit high. The lowest line misses a few things, and the next one up (which is the one I was interested in) is a bit expensive.
      I told Keysight if they added more deep memory that they would make a killing with their lower cost line that they came out with. Very nice, but spendy - especially since they don't' have deep memory. They did double it - but it is still on the small side for the cost. It would be worth spending more with them if they would just offer deep memory - which is a very simple thing to do. They loaned me a scope once but that's it. It takes me time to ship and money...
