Le Mans Go Karts - Busy Race // Penrite Track

They didn't have the super karts running today because of the pubic holiday. I wasn't too fussed because we hadn't raced Penrite for 4 months. My PB is in the mid 34s, so I was hoping for a mid to low 36. But I managed to get a mid 35 which was cool.

Love the vids jimboy but watching this in early 2021 makes me annoyed because Le Mans have put new sensors on the track that prevent you from cutting corner. Which sucks

had go last night 1st time on penrite track in over 6 years and was not a fan of the sensors. got rear ended few times when kart lost power instantly in front of other karts. hits were felt as we were in the superkarts. But end of day had fun

@@CLUBBY261 went again a couple of days ago and they’ve added more sensors and the corner after the start finish line and the last hairpin like one

@@sambacon7418 that back hairpin were they station a staff member at everyone was cutting through the rumble strip's and straight lining the corner in the event we did.

Jett Pack I only tap the brakes just as I hit the apex of the left turn, then full throttle all the way around the sweeping right past the pits 👍

And for the far end braking zone a similar thing?

Jett Pack The back hairpin is pretty similar. I brake as I hit the left wall area but I hold it down a bit longer. Then full throttle around the sharp right hairpin. That’s the only 2 braking areas of the track and the rest you can just go full throttle lol
