I used a target fund initially in roth from vanguard because you can start it out at $1k instead of $3k minimum. Then switched once i had enough to diversify. Im glad to have found your video thank you. I also agree wtih the roth being used last at around 80/85 yo plus the roth is passed to heirs without taxes as well.
@@PROJECT.LUKE.ONE.75 That's a whole lot of duplication / overlap! VOO = S&P 500 ETF VTI = Total US Stock Market ETF VTSAX = Total US Stock Market Index Fund VTI & VTSAX are just different share classes of the same *_identical_* investment VOO is simply subset of VTI/VTSAX
@@alrocky yeah definitely overlap, but I’m not sure he meant all of those together. Me, I’m going all VOO to start next Monday. VTI is close. So much it might not even matter but I’ll revisit now and then to see what the market is doing. Nasdaq is getting reamed right now, but could be a good opportunity.
When you say “momentum strategy” is that the same thing as “tactical”? Could you please demonstrate why this may not be as strong option long term compared to “buy and hold”? Thank you for the excellent videos.
In a taxable account, like a basic brokerage account, all the growth you gain will get taxed when you withdraw. In a Roth, the thing could grow 1000% and that all goes back into your pocket untaxed. Only the money you’re putting in is taxed up front.

Why are you saying tax deferred growth in a Roth?

I have a target fund in my 401k at work.
Growth may not be great if we get 10 years of slow growth in the US.

Talk fast makes you knowledgeable
Too much talking and not well specify on investment. More like a foggy or blurry vision video.
Totally agree…just fluff. Blah blah blah
So it depends on how well informed u already r on this subject matter. I’m pretty green on this and his conversation definitely helped me out.
