He does have a good heart. I almost think that pressure and loneliness put him in depression. He is aware of it. He is always trying to find a way to channel this negativity. He has a gentle soul.
Andrey always acknowledges his behaviour on the court. I really wish for him to be able to manage his emotions better & win many more titles. Whatever it may be, I llike this kid very much. Keep smiling more Andrey.
He is not into long rallies. He is not a net player either. His game is straight forward. He plays risky corner to corner shots. For that, He relies on power and consistency. He has to perfect those shots. He has to be a perfectionist. When he can’t have consistency, his game is broken. He has no plan b. He goes crazy.
Really insightful video from Andrey. He is very humble and has a really good mindset. Rooting for him all the way and hope he is able to find the things in life that continues to make him feel proud and happy.
Really wish he can win a GS! I really like his answers to closed Yes/No questions; where he answers no many times and explain the rationale, which makes perfect sense!
Thanks so much for releasing the video of this.. & for allowing Andrey to show his true self, in contrast to the negative image the media portrays🙏🏽 Love how your podcast shares great stories & is respectful to your fellow players 💛
Почу все нападают только на Андрея?! Он не один такой в туре, есть и круче. Нецензурно выражаются многие теннисисты, ракетки ломают тоже. Желаю Андрею здоровья и больших побед! Он достоин!!! ❤❤❤
Such a great interview. I first listened to the audio version on Spotify once it came out. Thank you for uploading the video. He really loved and was comfortable talking to y'all
Pain is the cost of intelligence. On the plus side, it’s around 25 to 30 yrs when prefrontal cortex fully develops. Should be easier to regulate and control strong emotions from now on compared to before I’d say Andrey. Though I function nowhere near an environment as top seed tennis players, from life experience, setting strict boundaries and focusing mostly on self and not worrying about the world around helps a lot too.
He is. He knows that. Pressure and loneliness since the age of 14 put him in depression. Tennis life is hard. Iga has a full time shrink on tour with her.
This guy needs to control his temper on the court. It's affecting my kids when they watch his games. Now I don't let them watch his games because of his anger issue on the court. It's disgusting and classless.
He has mental health issues. It's a lot easier said than done to just fix them. It may not be nice to watch but you gotta have compassion and empathy for what he's going through. You should take this opportunity to teach your kids the importance of looking after their mental health and dealing with emotions
@@IndieRockerHippy well said, I'd like to say that his behavior us totally normal, most days he is in control and some days he isn't, at the end of the day he is still growing and learning
I really hope he overcomes all the issues, he has a good heart ♥
@@unabassila if he doesn't overcome them then thd problems will overcome him

Andrey is one of my favorite players. He's real and exquisitely human.
(FWIW, I've been watching the game for over half a century)
His maturity on serious business like his career, Rublo and his foundation is beyond his years.

I think that he is depressed

He is. He said he’s been suffering with depression and burnout for years after the Montreal Open.

You are over reacting, the kids will get angry whether they watch rublev or not
If it actually affects your kids you're probably a shit parent haha
