I'm in London and grew up in the 70s 80s. We were taught that all the black American Indian inventions were invented by wight Europeans. Mostly British inventors, too.
In Alabama , the town of Kowaliga Creek which now lies at the bottom of Lake Martin was founded by John Benson and his son who started a railroad called the Dixie Industrial Company.There were brickyards,Cotton Mills, and a local bank. They produced corn,sugar and lumber. The town had grown to over 40 families. John’s bank was so successful that he was giving mortgages to black and white home buyers. His son William went away to study at Fisk and Howard Universities. He returned and founded The Kowaliga Academic and Industrial Institute. The whites would become jealous and flood the town with the creation of the Martin Dam in 1926.

I stopped watching the BET Awards in the late 90's. Because I saw what direction it was going in. We need a brand new awards show or BET needs a rebranding, either way we're going to continue to get what you just saw recently.

To that BW saying that we’ve never created a city, that’s a lie. Kinloch, Mo is my mother’s birthplace and where her father migrated to from TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA in the 40’s. Kinloch was like Tulsa, however Kinloch was its township. Matter of fact, it was the first all black city in Missouri and the oldest politically independent FBA community west of the Mississippi River. These democratic shills will lie without missing a beat. If they’re talking, they’re lying. Kinloch, like all of our successful cities was targeted by the WS during the 80’s and I saw it happening. The airport began to buy and force my family to sell their property and homes, proposing the airport would be expanded conveniently right through Kinloch.🙄 So they pushed and forced us out, and guess what… They never even expanded the Airport there. Today, the city is decimated with only a few original families that still live there. The late rapper HUEY, was from Kinloch and my Grandfather’s great nephew. (Small World, huh) The sad part about the story is, he was actually murdered in Kinloch, in front of our families home. 🕊️
