I think a Velcro strap helmet would be better so you aren't in danger of getting your head stuck. Just remember, open your mouth wide when you breathe to get as much air flow to your brain for optimal mental processing.
For the weapons traits you want to go with Hit, Heavy Hit, Crit Chance and Max HP in that order. Then the traits on gear will depends on the item since not all traits are on all items. It will also depend on what content you are doing, if you are more PVE you probably want to stack things like Max HP, HP Regen and Melee Endurance. For PvP you want to mix in Stamina so you can dodge more and then Evasion of the type of damage you are weak to or the meta is favoring, which atm is ranged so you want Ranged Evasion and Ranged Endurance if you are doing PvP. I will link a build for SnS/GS if you want to look into it some more. questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/BrutalBarrierOfTwilight?build-id=16246
Im not sure why the comment I replied with to your question isnt showing up, very strange... I'll retype it, the traits depend on your content. For your weapons you want Hit, Heavy, Crit then Max HP in that order. For Armor and Accessories this will depend, not all gear gets all traits. If you are doing PvP you want more evasion and endurance against what the meta is which is ranged damage right now, you also want Stamina to be able to use your Q dodge more. In PvE you want Max HP and Endurance more. I think the comment broke because I linked a build but if you go to the site I linked in the description, questlog gg, it has builds to try out under character builder. Grenton is a SnS/GS player and his builds on that site are solid.
