2:20 - Let's say you're doing contracts in an open dungeon (ex. Shadowed Crypts), even though a lot of players will be tagging mobs before you do, helping them kill the mob will count toward your contract progress so it's not a total loss. But yes, group up if you can lol.

@@vSwampFox I played for 24h since the global release with 0 experience in it before and didn't really meet any p2w bullies, just 1260 people zerg And it's kind of time gated so you farm for about 3 hours per day I would say and then it's just guild activities which are not mandatory if you're not in hc one

4:00 several items will only drop if certain effects are taking place. The earliest one is on the shores mobs will have a chance to drop juice if wet when they die.
With grey bar mobs, there is a small percentage that will get you loot as well, no exp, and during events you can get event drops from the grey bar kills as well if you hit it also.
My mind instantly knew about the grey health bars just because I play a lot of mmos. But then I see my friend helping a random clear a pack of grey health mobs thinking he was getting exp.
i get loot and exp from someone elses pulled mobs all the time. whenever i see a greyed out mob, i help fight it and get loot from it as well. ill see colored loot (that i can pick up) and greyed out loot (that i dont get).
No surprise there's power hit mechanic here. In Lineage II some damages skills had the "over hit" mention. And doing the final blow with such skill will give you a huge bonus of XP, even on raid boss.
Everquest, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Lineage/Lineage 2 and Diablo style games, invented 99% of the mechanics and stuff in every single game you see today.
I'm loving the game but the controller settings are gonna make my head explode and with the targeting once I figure those out I'll be able to enjoy it more 😂

Mmmm the Grey names does mean claimed by another. But you CAN still get loot. Imagine mini bosses in dungeons that you showed. I get loot all the time. If u do enough damage, thr game gives u loot. Don't let ONE random kill a boss himself. Get in there and KILL IT

This video is really bad wow.. All of these things can be figured out within two hours of playtime. It took me an entire day of playing before figuring out that you can dissolve gear and materials.

I'm failing to see why anyone would want to play this over BDO, ESO, WOW, Final Fantasy, GW2, or New World. It looks incredibly similar to the past 10+ years of MMORPGs, what makes it stand apart as a tab targetting MMO and another hamster wheel?
oh, thats just some diabolical bullshit with the public dungeons becoming locked murder chambers to get zerged in by other players at night. thats just some bullshit, as new players are not going to know that and just get crushed by higher level/geared people farming that dungeon. so, not only does is being in a public dungeon going to be a headache with the masses camping mobs, but if you go too deep and night falls, you're fucked. great. none of that sounds fun at all. the more i learn of this game, the less and less i want to play it, but im being dragged in by a friend...so, here hoping there is at least SOME fun to be had in this, yet another, K-MMO full of K-MMO bullshit.
It's really not a big deal. It's only night for a very short time. It's day the overwhelming majority. Zero issues. Just pay attention to the time night hits and leave beforehand. Now that you know instead of getting pissed just avoid it.
I was on that boat, but really it's not that bad. Yes, whales can buy stuff put on, but it cant be upgraded items. You can also sell stuff for lucent so there is a trade off. The p2w is fairly limited tbh. Free players can do fine, it just takes a tiny bit longer, or if they play smarter they can still smash whales just fine.

Grey Health Bar tip is wrong - you can still get loot and xp hitting things that other people tag. Do it all the time in game.

With grey bar mobs, there is a small percentage that will get you loot as well, no exp, and during events you can get event drops from the grey bar kills as well if you hit it also.

You get quest items though what i found and quest kills. But not loot loot and xp.
