"Zircon-encrusted tweezer." That is directly from Frank Zappa's song "Montana." Trey is an avid Zappa fan, and once said, "When Frank Zappa walked on stage, you knew it." You too, Trey. Way to put the eyebrows on it.
Timmy Hardaway, back in the day but towards his end...Miami, he had a crossover that he'd effortlessly do as he slowly set the offense bringing the ball up court. It looked almost lazy but it wasn't. That's was so dope. It sure sounds like this....
The computer system is like the fifth wheel in da band or da kind if you get my drift , I find it the answer to what is jazz is the same question searching for the answer ..
Nasheedmoiz, thank you very much for your pHish backing tracks! they are definitely some of the best out there. Would you be able to put something like this together for Grateful Dead Jams? Other One? Birdsong? or any.... Thanks again!
what are the chords Trey playing? I know its A, but what exactly is it? I love when he lays down these funk chords, always takes jams to a whole other level
amin7 then d7. if you know your chord shapes you just take your pinky off the G from the amin7 and move it in a half step and youve got yourself the notes A C F# A, the amin 7 is spelled A (starting on the 4th string going down), C, G, A
jm1072 literally just tried it yesterday, its a looper. you stomp it to start, then he just slides down from a high A on the 1st string, then you stomp it again to loop it. i did it yesterday and blew my own mind
if you played G major pentatonic all the notes would be there.. but yea.. its an A minor dorian jam.. so technically you can play around with any and all notes/chords in that scale... G major being one of them.... when you know your chords in the key and how they lay out your world will change.

This is so fun to play to. Does anyone know the exact two chords Trey is playing?
Amaj & D7
It’s Am7b5 & A minor 6
@@michaelmoran9731 With respect, I disagree. I don't hear any diminished chord tones but they just may be my ears. I hear a maj 7 resolved into D7.
x x 5 5 8 5 thennnn x x 5 5 7 5
Am and D7

@@youandthemes9213 its a Digitech Whammy 2 played with verb, slapback, into a Boomerang Looper.
@@marshallstudios1940 YES , record a dive bomb with a whammy , with a looper.... High A note or a C.
You can get same effect doing a volume swell and sliding down
A dorian sounds good to me
g pentatonic?
it would be a pentatonic, pentatonic resides inside the minor scale
A minor pentatonic is the safe bet
