Last Epoch or LE for short, is a game being released on February 21st. It is a new ARPG coming to the genre that introduces a new feel of late game progression and involves many intricate yet inviting and simple crafting mechanics. The cycle starts on game launch and future cycles will introduce new and interesting ways to play. The game currently is competing in the limelight with Path of Exile and Diablo 4 as being one of the most promising ARPG games on the market. This game has true potential for being an exceptional experience and one you don't want to miss out on. Furthermore, the game introduces exciting and well telegraphed boss fights with a solid endgame loop that is worth putting many hours of playtime into. Overall, I can't get enough of this game and easily give it a 9 out of 10 stars. With some better polish, I think this game would've been 10 out of 10 stars without even thinking about it.

The hardcore game play is actually better now. If your HC character dies he becomes a soft core character. Granted you don’t get your stashed gear to stranger with you but at least the time you put in leveling the HC character isn’t lost
And in 1.0 they are going to be releasing a graphics update that makes the “polish” much better
yeah i did hear about this and also that theyre going to be adding and changing things about the endgame after. im super excited for the full release!
Could you explain how trading works in this game? Is there an auction house or trading forum or whatever else?
As far as i can tell, when playing, you can choose between 2 different merchant factions. One of the factions is an open trade auction house that allows you to trade items with other players while the other faction increases your loot drop rate but you won't have access to the auction house if you choose to join this faction instead.
How do you trade with others if you play offline? Or are you stuck with one faction because you’re offline?

my guess is you wont be able to trade in offline mode. youll probably be forced into the loot drop faction or not have a faction option but who knows. i have no idea really@@evaander

Another con - no character customization at this point.
yeah poe also has no character customization, definitely a design choice, its not something that bothers me though because there is going to be plenty of cosmetic gear and effects to add. the characters are so small and typically covered in so much gear that the customization doesnt really bother me
