    Thank you so much! This is now my favorite recipe for chickpeas. It is so richly flavored and easy to make. I usually have the ingredients in my kitchen, so we have this fairly often with rice or rotis.
    I thank you for making such lovely recipes available to everyone and for encouraging people to try eating meatless dishes. You make it so easy to follow that anyone can make them.

    it looks delicious.. I also follow this tea bags process but that make my recipe bitter.

    • @vidyaarvind4458
      @vidyaarvind4458 3 года назад +1

      Depends on the quality and strength of the tea leaves. Use only 1 bag instead of 2. If it is still bitter. Then omit using the tea bags. The tea bags is just for the typical dark colour of this dish. The chole will taste just as good without the dark colour also if the rest of the steps and ingredients are taken care of.

    If we don't have tea bags, then how to add the tea flavors while cooking chana...?

    • @ishjain49
      @ishjain49 4 года назад

      Take 1-2 teaspoon (depending on the quality of tea, if extra strong 1 teaspoon would be fine) of your regular tea, add some water and boil it. Remove the tea leaves by strainer and add the black tea to chola, add regular water to adjust the level. Add rest of the ingredients and pressure cook it.

    Onions & tomatoes are never added to pindi chhole.. they are dry in consistency..this reciepe comes from the rawalpindi town which is currently situated in pakistan. During partition there were many hindus who used to eat onlt vegetarian.. this reciepe is originated from there.. it mainly has a paste of garlic n ginger in tempering. Rest all things were fine.
