There is a mistake in Shelby translation on 1/4 mile drag race
It should be 0-400m in 12 secs not 0-400km in 12 secs which is too OP if they can do 0-400km in secs (33km/sec speed).
This must be the most hilarious mistyping in-game description

I've never played the Auto Modellista game, but the game is good, the graphics, the sound of the brakes are like in the Gran Turismo game.

This game was totally underrated!
What an underated game, you know when i bought this back like in 2005, the seller told me this was a RC cars racing game, and i thought OMG!
But the game got me really hooked up, till a week later i remember the fcking seller lied to me, it wasnt the last time he would lie to me, but at least he make me buy a good game like this, but later... He told me Yakuza Fury, was Yakuza 2, you know those Yakuza game from Sega, i was like ok maybe the game says Yakuza Fury but it's Yakuza 2, and i buy that game, Yakuza Fury... What a piece of shit, i almost hit the damn seller in the face with the game, but i needed my money back, after that i never comeback to that store, kind of make me sad sometimes when i pass trough that store, and see that dude old, bald, grey hair, with the same store as in 15 years ago, seems like he never got to make something more with his life than having a gaming store, to hell with him anyways fcking greedy dude he got what he deserve for selling me fucking Yakuza Fury for Yakuza 2 😂 if you want to laugh check that game... It's A class crap, haha

Well, there is a RC mode in this game, which adds an antenna to your car, so he wasn't 100% wrong.
Welp I know what I’m replaying for the unnecessary 5th time.
It's worth it every time.

Love how it looks, in my idea is splatoon styled (colorful) + cel shaded racing game
Edit: NFS Unbound is kinda close to this
The handling is like that on purpose is hard because is an arcade game and so you have to force yourself to drive better
The handling is not so difficult, you need to improve more, remember the use of the break specifically on the curves, this handling is more like a simcade, personally i like it a lot.
This is the US version, the handling was intentionally made to be worse in order to be "harder"
You can go get the JP version which has a much more grippier handling model, although it lacks some of the content from the US since it's the original version of auto modellista before it was tuned for the US version.
I agree that what I didn't bear of this game was handling, the only drift possible was the complete spin, I don't think a wheel would have improved the experience (since I bought the wheel I almost don't care at joypad gameplay) , and I don't look so much at cell shading, I prefer recognize a mini GT, obviously with a more arcadish physic
So, the best Auto modellista is the US one. Great, I was going crazy by watching videos saying it wasn't bad in physics and there was a dirt track

The reason why this game was never payed attention is because it was never meant to be a console game, and capcom wanted it to be japanese exclusive like the initial d, wangan midnight game and battle gear, but they decided to make it world wide

But do american cars were available on PAL? I remember to have seen unlocked some japanese unicorns, like Dome Zero and Jotto Caspita (translation in italian of Countach) , RC mode but no american cars, I also don't remember dirt track and WRC cars

am i correct when saying the American version had American manufactures and the Europe version didnt have them on because ive got this on PCSX2 and i dont have american cars on mine
Yep. European version is also based off of the initial Japanese version. So while there's less content, the gameplay is better.
I find it odd that the game has no European cars.
