How many placements should I add before it let me create the ads?
Do the competitor see when you advertise on their channel? And how does it look like if i advertise in competitors channel? If i advertise in certain video, then I understand that my video appears before theirs, but if I advertise on channel, then how does it appear?

I am just an individual with no company or organization registration. Does that exclude my from advertising and pushing my videos on youtube? I tried to promote a video on my other channel, but the campaign shortly got paused, and it said my account violated suspicious payment policy, and required me to verify. But when I try doing that, it asked for the name of my organization, and said it could find a Dun & Bradstreet match, and said enter my D-U-N-S number to make verification faster, (both which I don't know what it is). I deleted the old credit card info, and enter a new one, which is active, but that didn't do the trick. I couldn't find anywhere I could email to them to ask about my problem. What should I try next?? Thank you.
Hi! Being an individual with no parent organization affiliate does not exclude you. Sounds like you need to reach out to Google Support to make sure the account is active and is good standing.

If your channel is popular like Mr Beast's channel, it means maybe thousands of different companies may also select it as their target channel. How will RUclips decide when to show each 1,000+ different ads on that same channel? So if a small company like mine selects that channel, and a big company like Samsung also selects same channel, surely my pocket is smaller than their budget. Will I get equal amount of ads viability as Samsung on that same channel, or will they get more visibility cause they paid more? That's my question.

You might need to open it up to additional channels to access more inventory. I’d also take a look at your quality score in the overall competition of advertisers trying to get ads on those placements.

This doesn't seem to work anymore if you're just trying to target a single channel or RUclips video, I get the following message when following your steps to the letter: "You need more placements for your ads to show on. Add more channels and videos or remove the ones that you have already added."

Hi! You don't have to be a part of the partner program to run ads. Take a look at some of the other comments - it went away for conversion based campaigns but is still alive and well!
Hey Scott! Thanks for this - I'm doing this strategy but I'm running into an issue where I'm not getting many views. I gathered a list of 1,700 videos to run two different video ads on, and only the same like 8 videos are getting views, and it's only a few views per video. I set my daily budget to $10. Any tips? Not sure what's going on - I used this strategy without issue last year, many times.
Okay I'm confused. You say it's not available anymore, but then mention it actually is... So what is the set of steps to achieve this if it is still possible? (without having to go through 90 comments to find the person that corrected you). I looked for it on google ads, and I could not find it anywhere, anymore. @@ScottRedgate No it's not, at 1:47 Custom Video Campaign is not available. The options are Video Views Efficient Reach Target Frequency Non Skippable Reach Drive Conversions Ad Sequence Audio Also, you cannot target only one channel, you will be prompted to add more channels.

It depends on how much investigation they do but they can see you are advertising in their AdSense account

Yes, they could see advertisers on their videos in their AdSense account.
